My husband tried this place and absolutely loved it the food was so fresh and hot
Singapore rice noodles looked like they reheated from a few days ago. The chicken was rubbery and honestly didn’t even look like chicken. When I order Singapore rice noodles from other restaurants they are usually yellow, I can definitely tell these were old. NEVER AGAIN.
Food is very tasty here. I enjoy the variety, the customer service is good very friendly and their son helps out if you have questions, and the food isn't too salty or spicy. My egg rolls were very fresh, the chicken lo mein was fresh and the portions were GREAT !! the price was excellent too...at lunch try the hibachi chicken and shrimp with yum yum sauce. Enjoy ?
The food is decent my main issue was that they charged me more for my food than what the menu price said. Brought this to their attention they said I had an old menu (that I just got from them 3 days prior to this). They gave me a “new” menu with my order that had the same price as the original.
When I was ordering my food I ordered a chicken Chow mein I asked multiple times if it was like lo mein knowing some places call it something else and they said yes it was noodles. When I pick up my food and get home. It was just veggies with crispy noodles like for soup. I called them told them that’s not what I wanted and instead of making it right the kept saying that’s what you asked for I told you multiple times it was veggies. Which is not what they said if I’m asking for noodles they should’ve said it’s not noodles maybe you’re talking about Angel hair. Long story short they argued on the phone about not wanting to exchange it or refund me. NEVER ordering from here again (keep in mind I was calm the whole time and I’m a regular customer)
Amazing! We just moved nearby and ordered for the first time, and it will be probably be the only place we order Chinese or Japanese take out from now on. The food was absolutely wonderful, everything tasted fantastic and it was prepared very quickly! We love that we can get Japanese and Chinese dishes in one place, at at such great quality! Can’t wait to come back. If you haven’t tried it, you should!
The work was nasty, shrimp was old or something. Shrimp fried rice was not what its called. I'll never eat there again

I order the shrimp egg foo young and they burned it. Terrible customer service. Instead of replacing it they handed it out like this. It was very nasty outside that I wanted to get home. Very disappointed in my experience
LOVE LOVE LOVEBY FAR THIS IS MY FAVORITE PLACE TO GO FOR A GREAT MEAL AND YOU CAN NOT BEAT THE PRICE. I move to northern VA years ago and thought I would have to drive hours if I wanted to get hibachi chicken then one day my husband asked about stopping for food and I tell you what i was so surprised and happy to see a Tokyo Express close to home!!!If you like chicken and veggies you should try the Habachi Chicken and try it with the yum yum sauce on the rice.
