Snuck down to The Soup and Taco 2 during my daughter's art class at Liberty Arts in downtown Fredericksburg- AMAZING!! The staff was extremely kind and down-to-earth making sure I had the cozies spot in the restaurant to people-watch & just unwind =) I got the birria tacos and a margarita - both were delicious & highly recommended! I will definitely be back!
The company I work for ordered lunch from this establishment and there was a man on the phone taking orders that is tremendously rude and dismissive to simple questions and requests for our order. Absolutely disgusting customer service. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone following our offices experience. There are many other restaurants in the area that serve the same type of food with MUCH better service. Try J'angelas Restaurant!!
Nice little spot in Fredericksburg. Had pupusas and shrimp tacos. Loved the fresh flavors of shrimp tacos, and these were my first pupusas so I don't know how to really rate them. Definitely would order them again. They come in three different styles. One was bean, another was pork, and the third was cheese I believe (not sure). Very affordable, good well cooked food. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Even for the big group we had. Not a huge dining space, but they made it work for us. Not sure they could do another large group though. Overall, a very satisfying experience of a local joint and would definitely go back again.
Just picked up a order for 8ppl and they knocked it out of the park! Shrimp, chicken, and veg tacos along with chips and salsa with a side of queso made these folks VERY HAPPY! The very kind young lady who took my order over the phone also helped me load it into my car. This is how it's done!!
Worse Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. It is extremely bland. Ordered the birria tacos, fajitas, nachos, and chicken quesadillas and everything tasted horrible. I usually order from Cancun Mexican Margarita grill in the mall, but decided to give this place a try for takeout and it was definitely a huge waste of money.
Birria tacos 5/5 amazing. It was my first time trying them so I don’t have much to go off of but I really enjoyed them.
Luckily, the male waiter was very friendly and saved us from having a horrible experience. The first rude waitress slammed our drinks down, I got up to get a napkin and was chastised by her, even after waiting several minutes without any silverware. The Birria tacos were very good. The salsa; different but tasty. The margarita could stand to have a little more tequila. Will return, and ask for the same waiter!! I wish I would have gotten his name.
Such a cute restaurant! The food is delicious and the service is great. Super friendly staff. I will definitely be back!
Very good, great place to dine! They sell Birria tacos and they were amazing!. Our server was awesome and very attentive. The Taco Soup was a pretty good and fresh. The Pupusas were pretty subpar but the rest of the food made up for them. The tacos were flavorful and I have to complement the good seasoning. Great Mexican food! Overall impressed, will return soon!
This place is a must! We had dinner there last night and everything was fantastic! The service is top notch and they keep the place very clean. We have always gone to the one located on Caroline Street in the city of Fredericksburg which we love. So when we left last night dummy me left me jacket and wallet which had a very sizable amount of cash in it. Nervous as hell I returned this morning totally expecting my jacket and wallet to have been stolen. Much to my surprise the waiter recognized me and grabbed both my wallet and jacket and gave them to me. All of my cash was there. I couldn't believe it. I had also taken an item home last night and he asked how I liked it. He totally made me feel like family. Such a great place!
