The food was no where near my expectations! Had my mouth set for some really good barbeque and was very disappointed!! The pork sandwich was dry even with the mounds of sauce I put on it. The sauce tasted like great value sauce from a jar nothing special about it. My side dishes(baked beans, Cole slaw and green beans)Had no down home flavor at all, beans were salty. Just felt let down and still hungry!
Tried them when everyone raved about them. It was less than mediocre. Disappointed. Esp for the price. Sandwich meat was cold too. Dry. Nothing special about the sauce. No popping flavors. Bland. Not a fan of the coleslaw at all. Mission, Allmans, Uncle Elders, Bbq Exchange and McCoys were all way better, in my opinion. Nothing fantastic about the sides, either.
Although I've never seen this location busy, I've heard many great things about Shawn's, and finally decided to give it a try! Unfortunately I was incredibly disappointed.
Very good barbecue; clean space; and friendly, helpful staff. Sean’s is THE only place I have been able to find burnt ends (which is a big deal for a Kansas Citian!) ?? Lots of different kinds of sauce to try and their wings are killer.The only drawback since covid is they do not allow customers to use the fountain drink machine.

Came in for the first time to get dinner for the family. Wife said it's the best chicken she's had in years, kids loved the ribs, and the brisket is awesome. We definitely recommend this place. This is the best bbq in Fredericksburg.
Ate here today. Very delicious and the staff were kind and helpful. Burnt ends and roasted potato salad were my favorites!

1st time there . Pulled pork is the best I've had. Will definitely be back to try the briscuit and burnt ends .
