the happy hour and apps are delish .. waitstaff is on point givin everywhere is low staffed...
Well. at first glance, the place is gorgeous. however, one of the two apps we tried ordering they were out of. the cauliflower app was ok. nothing special.
Heard a lot of hype, burgers were average. Would go again probably aim for something other than burgers great atmosphere. One server was helping everyone but handled it well.
Went on a Saturday night. They have a great selection of bourbon and scotch. Try the nachos because they come out on a big tray. They are not rebellious (as the name would imply) and even sell t-shirts with Thomas Jefferson wearing a face mask.
Finally made my way to Rebellion Bourbon Bar & Kitchen - FXBG. When i walked in i was greeted warmly by the bar tender lenzie. She made me a Bourbon drink with bourbon soaked cherries and it was delicious!For lunch I ordered the The Ramsay Bolton: whiskey bacon jam, aged cheddar, b&b pickles, smoked mayo, lto, sesame bunAnd mac and cheese. Everything was delicious and the customer service was amazing!! Lenzie is a great bartender! I will be going back!
Menu had a good selection of appetizers and sandwiches/burgers. 2 full pages of bourbons to select from (we tried Angels Envy, and Whistlepig10) and a decent selection of other spirits.Overall vibe was also good. Service was quick and accurate, good was tasty and most importantly the bathrooms were clean and in good order. Would recommend as a great spot to hang in Fredericksburg.
Rebellion FXBGMy overall experience was Very Good, The Environment was Warm Welcoming with TV's everywhere, they even had a Lounging area with nice comfortable Seats, The service were fast and friendly & they all passed the Covid Protocol test with wearing facmaskes, my server recommended the weekly Special which was the Braised Short Rib Over Egg Noodles that was really Good, but I would have been Good without the Candy Bacon, everything else was Good, The building was very clean even the bathrooms were in Good Shape, ?? I'll definitely recommended to Family and friends to try out.
Great food and great drinks! The mark of a good restaurant is when they fix what they mess up. I got a fried chicken sandwich, and the chicken was over fried. I told the waitress, and she got me an all new one with no problem.I've been a lot of places in down town Fredericksburg where they argue with you over the food, but not here. I had a new properly fried sandwich in about 7 minutes, and they didn't just take the old sandwich and put a new patty on it! Very happy with the service and the food. Even good cooks can make mistakes, but great ones fix them!
Nice place. We were a large party at the front. Our waitress was not polite, confirmed our order and still brought the wrong drinks. Was asking us for the bill WHILE WE WERE STILL EATING. Apparently there was another group waiting for that table. Our bill total had to be reaching $900.00 easy. She didn't care. Wanted us out. We will not return.
Very cozy. Great staff and very friendly. Bring your appetite as large portions. Tasty food
