I loved the food. The chicken was pretty close to perfect, and the sides were good. It seems pricey, but the portions are big enough for two meals. All in all, quite satisfactory.
Please consider this as a constructive critique. I just went for lunch and to try a real Peruvian dish! I ordered a whole chicken and ceviche. The chicken was very good! A little hint of cinnamon (at least it tested like it) but very good! The yuca was on point as well as the fried plantains. However, the ceviche was a disappointment. I asked for no onions and it came with lots of it. The plate was warm which is unusual because ceviche is a cold plate. The fish had tons of lemon and it looked like it was previously cooked. The “leche de tigre” was made on celery and had a shrimp on it and the consistency was like a pure of celery which was very disappointing because leche de Tigre is liquid and spicy. The plate came with a lemon on top which is very unusual for a real Peruvian decoration. To the management, the prices are overprice and they don’t give you a detailed invoice just an overall total which is not good when you want to see what you’re paying for especially after a server tells you is $1 per plantain/ yuca. Despite the experience, I’m happy to see a Peruvian restaurant by the area it certainly makes me very proud but if you sell it as “Peruvian” please do better with our flag plate.
I had the Tallarin Verde Con Bistec and I gotta say my taste buds were very happy!?
I thought the Peruvian chicken was just meh, although the hubs loved it because it is smokier than some other places. That said, the tilapia ceviche was OUT OF THIS WORLD! We will be back just for the ceviche—amazing! Also, I’d you haven’t eat in the little patio, it’s lovely and beautiful with all the plants and random statues. Loved it!
This review is not to bash the staff as they did their job. This review is just to inform people that this is not a typical Spanish restaurant. If you are looking for traditional Tex-Mex or Peruvian food as the signs say, do not go here. $21 dollars for a kids size portion of Lomo saltado and $25 for again a child portion of seviche mix. 2/4ths of the plate is corn, sweet potato and yuca. Another 1/4th of the plate is a whole onion. The last 1/4th is the ceviche mix. When it comes to taste, it wasn’t bad by any means. This was good food 7/10, but if I have to pay for my food first even though I’m eating in and then get such small portions. I would rather take the 40 minute drive to Woodbridge to get cheaper and more flavorful spanish food. The one star rating is to inform any new customers that might find this place interesting. As the current 4.6 stars has definitely been inflated more than gas prices.
The service is great! The food was perfect. We ordered the the family special, five of us.my favorite is the green sauce with ALL THE trimmings. If you have questions or uncertain what to oder just ask! They are super friendly and ready to explain. Best chicken ever!!!

Not good at all! Paid about $14 bucks for a leg quarter with 2 sides, cold French fries and rice! I swear the chicken was old, it smelled not of spices but like spoiled cooked chicken! Not happy and will not be back! What a waste this was and I am feeling ill now that I have eaten it!
The chicken was absolutely amazing! The owner is really nice and friendly and so are the staff! We found a new place to stop for lunch when we go to bass pro shop!
