In Fredericksburg for work, so some of my colleagues and I grabbed dinner here. All of the staff was very friendly, and the service was great. Madison Sousa was hilarious, and our table had a blast.
Madison Sousa (we love Sousa lol) was so great! Excellent service and super friendly, she really made our experience.
We stopped here after a day of touring the area. We were probably too hungry for such a fantastic place as it was hard to decide what to eat as everything sounded so delicious! I opted for the fish & chips since it's their "signature dish," and my wife had a chicken sandwich; for an appetizer, we ordered the Bavarian pretzels, and everything was incredible! We ordered a Guinness brownie with vanilla ice cream for dessert, which we both enjoyed. Our server (whose name I didn't catch, my apologies) was fabulous and checked on us constantly to ensure we were well taken care of. The bar is a masterpiece of work and a focal point for the restaurant; this place is a must-visit. I've seen other people complain about the prices. However, we felt it was just right, and we got a lot of food for what we paid.
Service was good and food tasted good but quality for the price is severely lacking! 3 pretzel sticks for 11.25? Let’s change that to 5 for 8.50. And the bourbon chick was very good but not for $19 for a chicken breast and a small scoop of mashed potatoes and some asparagus. Either double the portion or drop it to 13.99. The fried food and kids meals seem reasonable but other than that I can’t recommend this place as the price far outweighs the portions and quality! Have not been here in years and can’t come back because I’m leaving hungry after dropping $93 for 2 adults and a kid. Rough!
I'd read a few reviews and knew the restaurant was likely going to be pretty darn good . . . but it was better than that. IT WAS EXCELLENT! We shared the Ahi Tuna Salad, the French Dip, and the Jameson Irish Whiskey Bread Pudding. All were very so tasty! Also, I'd read they get super busy, so we went for an early dinner, about 5ish, on a Saturday. Perfect plan! We got a booth, no problem; and by the time we left many people were waiting to be seated. So, either go early or plan to wait. But GO!
We were traveling with friends and found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. It was perfect! Good atmosphere and excellent food!
Came to Park lane with my beautiful wife for a Saturday Brunch. We were seated with no wait and our RockStar of a waitress Taylor was at our table to take a drink order and tell us about the specials as soon as our butts hit the cushion. She was very helpful with recommendations. Now to the main event. “ THE BEEF WELLINGTON “ is on the menu permanently. Yes Permanently. It makes me very happy. Park lane has the best Wellie I’ve had in the states. It takes me back to my days in Europe with every bite. Park lane is definitely a destination for great spirts and delicious food another must try is the Guinness Bloody Mary. When you come in Ask for Taylor she is at the top of her game as far as servers go. She will make sure your drinks are flowing and you are having a great time.
Absolutely the best food and our waitress Taylor was exceptional. Thank you for always making this such a great experience for us.
This place is AMAZUNG. Food is well prepared and delicious with a great selection. Staff is friendly and attentive . Atmosphere is like visiting an Irish pub. It has a great beer and whiskey selection . Daily specials are available. We have had their fish, beef Wellington, and Jameson bread Pudding (fighting over the last drop sauce). The caesar salad is just right.Just wished we lived closer so we could enjoy more often.
