The food here is good, if you can eat gluten. For a place named Panera BREAD, having no gluten free options when everyone else is coming out with them isn’t acceptable. The price of their food consistently goes up with no new options and by the time you get your food from the drive through you’ll have more gray hairs than when you started. It’s THAT slow.
I went up to the counter to pick up my husband's and my food which were on plates, but not on a tray. I asked for a tray because I was using a cane with one hand and had only one hand to carry with. (My husband just had ankle surgery.) They looked at me dumbfounded until I had to ask for help carrying. A customer service oriented business would have immediately offered to carry my food without me having to ask and would have carried both plates instead of only one. I appreciated the help, but businesses could take a lesson from Chick-fil-A who wouldn't have to be asked.
I normally enjoy Panera, although it seems a bit expensive in my opinion. I went to the Central Park Fredericksburg, Va location today. I always customize one of the breakfast sandwiches, and I pay extra for extra egg whites. Today my sandwich was poorly made, thrown together and very messy, and there was NOT any extra egg white. I was in a hurry and chose not to bring it to the attention of the manager employees, but it was not okay to pay extra for food that I did not receive.
Order to go - asked for Thai Chix soup and got Chik wild rice This is the 2nd time in a row that there have been issues. Quality control is needed.
Very clean establishment. The workers were very nice even though they were busy. I'm glad they have a drive thru!
Food was good like usual and service was nice. However, it looked like the apocalypse occurred in the bathroom. Also, I understand that after lunch rush hour it will take a while to get everything cleaned back up again in the dining area but it was really dirty and needed attention. I also have sympathy for the homeless but it definitely changes the feeling of the atmosphere when you have to look at a shopping cart parked in the dining area. At least ban the shopping cart so other customers especially the elderly have enough space to walk by safely.
As usual, the food at Panera is top notch. Fresh meats, cheeses, breads, and veggies. Excellent service. Great beverages. A perfect goto.
My broccoli soup was a little cold, but overall tge food was excellent as per usual.
I've never gotten the hype around Panera. I mean, it's fine, but their bread is usually pretty stale and the food still tastes like it's shipped to the franchise frozen. They do have a fair amount of drink options, which is nice.
