Expensive, food was decent however one big reason for dining here was for sushi. No sushi chef so no sushi. Final straw was when the bill came in I found that two unsweetened teas were $9.98 just for tea. Also this is a Japanese restaurant ran by Mexican workers! Our chef was a decent hostess and cooks very well. Will think twice before returning!

Having the hardest time figuring out how everyone else received such excellent service. Went for a birthday dinner, our chef was little to no excitement, the food was bland, and the vegetables hadn’t been fully cooked they were equivalent to taking vegetables cutting them up, putting them in oil/butter (whatever they use) and then warming them up in the microwave. The best part of my entire dinner was the soup. The salad was watery, and the actual meal itself was a flop, the rice was hard, the vegetables were hard and the table itself was such a fire hazard, it had burns along it. The chef did little to no tricks other than a big fire, and an onion volcano. The pricing seemed high for the quality of the food. The waiter was nice, and provided good service. The fountain drinks were fresh, crisp and flavorful but everything else was disappointing. I wouldn’t go here again nor recommend it but if it were put in front of me as a meal and there were no other options I’d eat it. All in all if you want a good waiter, greasy food, with no seasoning and hard rice and vegetables this is your spot. Lastly cleanliness is 2.5/5, the chef did clean in between each cooking period, but that was about it. Table was dirty, plates were not thoroughly cleaned, napkins had stains, burn marks along table, grill left with rice/other things on siding, and floors were dirty. It was also very sticky and thick inside as if you walk into an all smoking section with soda spilled in the floor from years and years of traffic. I think our chef had a rough day, and was just ready to go. Really wish I could have a better review or experience. I will update if I ever go back.

Where do I begin? Omg. This deserves 10 stars. We finished off my sons 13th birthday celebration here. The miso soup and the salad was the freshest one I've ever had. From anywhere! I nearly lost my mind and my son ordered 2 of them. We had the kendo meal for 2 with the lobster, Tokyo shrimp and filot mignon. Cooked to damn perfection!!! Excuse my language but this was an explosion of taste and flavor. Our chef was great. And the food exquisite. I only found this place bc of a persistent Google search. I'm in love. If you see this review.... GO EAT THERE NOW!!

*(VERY UNCLEAN, UNSANITARY, BOTH OF US GOT SICK AFTER EATING THERE!)**Wife and I finally get a date night, we go in, and it's pretty busy. They tell us about a 30-minute wait, no problem. We go and sit at the bar there was a lady making daiquiri's so we didn't bother her we waited till she was finished and said good evening to her she looked at us and kept ignoring us, after a few attempts to get her attention she finally acknowledged us. While we were waiting for her I noticed there was a hand full of fruit flies buzzing around us and the bar back, we asked for couple of their specialty drinks and at first she looked at us in complete confusion so we point to them on their 1 and only drink menu again a confused look then we realized she didn't speak any ENGLISH she then pointed at the drink menu and shook her head no. We then get up and sit on an open bench to finish out our wait.We finally get called to our table as we were walking to our table I was looking around an the cleanliness was horrible food and egg shells everywhere our chef his shirt looks like it hasn't been washing in a week. He tried to be entertaining but fell short. The spacing between each food course was long and when he did his onion volcano he had his little plastic guy that squirted some type of liquid on fire and our food not even 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant, my wife and I were running for the bathroom.

Very awesome food. The cook we had was not very engaged and fun like the usual. But i will make a return trip and try again!

Dinner was excellent, we walked in without a reservation and although we were told it would be a 30 min wait we were seated within 10. Seating staff was pleasant and seemed to want to help. Wait staff was very attentive and kept my drink full. Chef did an excellent job preparing the meal, steak shrimp fried rice were all cooked excellent chicken was a little over done but still tasty. Overall excellent experience and will return to eat here again.

The best in town.I went somewhere else and they put so much soy sauce, I couldn’t eat my meal. It was too salty. I asked Chef Abraham what is it that the food at Otani doesn’t taste salty. He said “it’s out teriyaki sauce, we don’t use much soy, we use our own home made teriyaki”I totally recommend this place. If you come, ask for Chef Abraham. He is great!

I was here last night and have been going for the past 5 years, never again. The new hostess who takes your name when you come in is extremely nasty. She lacks professionalism and has a bad attitude. I will dine somewhere else with a more friendly staff.

Been here 2 times. Enjoyed both. Great drinks, food service

tutto accoglienza,cibo, intrattenimento.
