The shrimp and grits was a negative for me. It was Cajun but too spicy honestly and I like spice.They food isn’t that great.

The food is decent I’ve ordered to go a few times. I ordered a drink this time. This is so tacky to me.. they gave me a cup a little over half filled and I asked them why it wasn’t full. And they told me that’s the measurement for the large $4 OJ I’ve ordered. I’ve never been anywhere that measures their drink. Lol goofy.
We had a decent breakfast here. It seems like this place aspires to be more, which is nice, but ends up short in some respects. The space itself is small and, with it being chilly outside, ends up cold as well with the doors being opened / closed. We waited 45 minutes for a table and it was a bit frustrating to sit there and see un-bused tables sit around for 5-10 minutes between customers while we waited. They need a bigger space.
Fabulous combinations make this a special spot to visit,. Get reservations or takeout to avoid long wait. Yummy sweet potato tots, interesting variation on chicken salad. Good tasting Rueben sandwich. Chili cheese dog was delightful. Grilled cheese is melty goodness with crisp bread - not soggy. Omelet was perfectly cooked to order.
We ate chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits. Both were enjoyable and came in large portions. My husband and I especially enjoyed the shrimp and grits for its warmth and depth of flavor! Our server was also sweet, and the wait was much shorter than the time given. We would absolutely take guests there or recommend it 100%!
