Most wholesome place you'll go to. Staff are so friendly and sweet, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the drinks are great.
The first time I came here I did not know they only had oat/soy/almond/coconut milk so I was worried I wouldn't like my drink. I took the baristas recommendation for oat milk and I was blown away. Their coffee is AMAZING! My new go to spot! The inside also has a really nice comfy vibe great for studying or hanging out! Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming!
My GF and I have have been to this wonderfully friendly cafe many times, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. We go every time we are in town walking around. My GF always gets a rose water white chocolate mocha. As picky as she is about her coffee, they do it right every time. Personally i don’t get frufoo drinks, I’m just a simple coffee guy, but their reg. Coffee Is delish, and I normally put my own honey and almond milk in it, but they always put the right amount in it for me. That’s one of the many reasons we love them. The atmosphere is awesome, with such a neighborhood and vibe feel, we always end up talking to people we just met. They also have a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches, wraps, pastries and other delicious items to go with your beverage choice. They truly are the best in downtown Fredericksburg.
Most polite staff member helped me out. She was friendly and very bubbly. Delicious coffee. Highly recommend.
what a fantastic little gem! got a triple over ice and a small coffee (NOTE-they do not have milk/cream here if that matters to you) with some oat milk. ordered a cheese danish, they accidentally doubled the order so i bought a second. it was delicious. awesome employees. cute venue. interesting bathroom. and for the cherry on the top, ALF was there!
This place is absolutely magical. Katora was the first place I visited when I moved to Fredericksburg, and I kept coming back for the people who work here and the atmosphere. They treat you not as a guest, but as a friend. The owners are wonderful and have created such a caring, safe, and creative space. Katora feels like a home whenever you come in, from the owners, staff and the events. They always have an event going on, and you get to meet some of the most incredible people here. Thank you for making such a wonderful and safe space, where you can be who you are and are accepted.
I first visited Katora back in 2018, and shortly after, I moved out of Fredericksburg- but when I moved back last summer, Katora was one of the first places I went back to. Nothing’s changed in terms of how great they were back then compared to now. The staff is so friendly and kind, the atmosphere is great, and they are extremely community-oriented, hosting various events to engage people. They also have a printer where you can pay a small fee to use which is super handy. I also really appreciate that they offer Maca and other supplements. All in all, I love this place (and especially their baklava lattes).
This is by far the best building I’ve ever walked in to in my life. From the best personable service leaving me feeling special and unique, you instantly feel like a regular and part of an exclusive family. Then there’s the many unique food and beverage choices, special menus and it’s all vegan! They also have incredible events just about every night. From open mic, poetry nights, karaoke, art, dungeons and dragons and even super smash brother tournaments! This is a place of positivity, healing and community. A breath of fresh air and such a change that the world desperately needed. I wish more places offered the energy katora does. One of a kind place.
By far the best coffee shop in Fredericksburg, they have vegan option food, amazing art, and a huge menu of coffees and teas, and they have open mic and tables in the back to draw at or work at, just a great creative space... since I discovered this place I've wanted to just keep coming back, grateful they are here... they have vegan cream cheese to go on bagles, and amazing tea
My vegan buddy was in town & we saw they had some options for food (& coffee.) We both tried different sandwiches & both were delicious!!! Also, the staff was super kind per usual. Just a fun, friendly & trendy spot. Yum yum.
