Doesn't matter what's going on in my life or where I'm living at the time, if George's is an option, it's the only option for me. Growing up we came here for my Granddad's birthday lunch, back when George still owned the place. Anytime I stayed with my grandparents, there was a good chance we were either getting it fresh, or they already had some in the fridge. He's since passed, and George sold it to some of the staff, but I've kept the tradition with it now being my go-to for my birthday outing, and they've kept the place running better than ever.The fries are solid and the fried mushrooms are something I may look forward to as much as the pizza. The pizza is handmade, fresh, daily.So here the only drawback: it takes a long time from when you order to when you get the pizza.If speed is what you want, order Dominos. The wait for this pizza is worth every second. Pepperoni, sausage, mushroom. Do it. You won't regret it.

Good sauce, plentiful toppings and cheese. Made in house. Locally owned, try it to support a local business,.it’s a hole in the wall gem. Go back over and over for the pizza and specials. Never had sandwiches or entrees.
First time trying George’s pizza but definitely not the last! The pizza is awesome. Freshly made, great flavor, the crust looks like a pan style but is light and crispy.
The customer service wasn't the best. The waitress was pleasant and friendly but when our order of two appetizers came out 10min apart then the pizza was made wrong the manager got down right rude. We will not be coming back.
A Fredericksburg institution. Best fries in town. Great pizza, subs and sandwiches. We come here regularly. The fries take time, so chill out and have a beer. The ladies here are wonderful. If you want fast food, fast pizza and bland food and personalities, go somewhere else.
GLORIOUS!!! I do not expect that any business as well-established as this place is, would need my review; however, my experience today commands your attention... The pizza here is fantastic!!! Fresh, tasty, inexpensive, and my table was incredibly clean. The service was immediate, and as friendly as you would expect from family. A repeat customer is born!!! I will be back for more!!! Georges pizza has been a Reasturant i have been stopping by for years. The pizza is always cooked to perfection, just right. Taste to me is the best. Love the cheese and reuse makes for a perfect combo. Sometimes we get just pepperoni other times the meat . the waitress in there is the sweetest. She's part of the owner team i think but she's always so bubbly and happy. I guess you can say i love this place and it's people. Fan for life. If you want to try a hidden gem, go by George's, you'll love it. Oh and get the Fry's, omg.
They are always great. Service is fantastic. Those ladies know how to make perfect pizzas.
