This location was out of several menu items, the tables hadn’t been cleaned, and the floors were slick with grease. The concretes were way too sweet for my taste, but the cheese curds were delicious. I’d choose to try another place over going back here.
This restaurant was VERY cold. I would NOT recommend this restaurant. A tactic that some restaurants use to flip tables faster is to make the location cold. This is one that wants their customers in and out by lroviding an uncomfortable atmosphere to eat your food. My food got cold very fast and I was sgivering while eating my food. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. STAY AWAY.
Great food, made fresh to order. We were visiting from out of state, wish you had locations up north. Relatives who live locally suggested the food is great but the desserts are pricey for how small they are. Can't say agree or disagree as we didn't do dessert.
Staff seemed overwhelmed with just a few customers. Ordered a Minnie sundae and after waiting 10 minutes I was informed they were out of strawberry. Custard was fantastic.
It was good food at a decent price. I'm told I should have gotten a milkshake. I'll do so next time!
They weren't super busy, but it took awhile to get our food. Staff did what they needed to do to get the job done, but nothing spectacular. Their burgers are really dry.. definitely better places to choose from.
I tried their version of a Chicago dog. Not bad, I didn't like the bun, looked like a piece of Texas toast wrapped around the hot dog, and I don't recall seeing any peppers on there, but it was OK. At least the service was good as was the milkshake, and I always like their shoestring French fries ?
If you are concerned about safe food handling, this is probably not the place for you. Half of the workers were wearing gloves the others weren’t. Workers not wearing gloves, were making ice cream handling the customers drinks, and scratching their heads within their ponytails, and messing with their hair. Are they made sure to stick their hands in their dirty pockets and then continue with making food for the customers. Beyond the lack of adhering to food safety, the food took forever. I would assume that this was because there was a fundraiser going on. The workers just couldn’t seem to get it together to handle the volume of customers, which really wasn’t that many. I feel like the workers just need to get a refresher in how to handle food and actually how to work in customer service.
Food is good, but service is the slowest on Earth. Placed my order 25 minutes ago using online ordering for the first time. Was just told “it’ll be out in a bit.”
Was in the mood for hot dogs so I did a little Google search and Freddy's popped up. Looking at the pictures I actually thought it was a local place in Fredericksburg but it seems to be a national chain at least that's what the cashier told me. I'm a big Chicago dog fan and I was intrigued that they had their own Freddy's version of it. I got a combo meal with the Chicago dog and their shoestring french fries which I made into chili cheese fries and a Diet Coke. After you make it water they give you a little slip and you can take a seat and wait for them to call your number. The place kind of has a 1950s Vibe with red and white checkerboard colors throughout. They have a soda dispensing machine that you get to pick your own drink and fill up with free refills. Food talk about 10 minutes to get which wasn't too bad. The Chicago dog is definitely their own version of it and doesn't have some of the traditional things oh, but it was actually very good. One of the things I think I even preferred over a poppy seed bun was the butter toasted bun. It doesn't have a little Chili Pepper on it but it was really good. The shoestring Fry's we're fried to perfection and they stayed pretty crispy, at least for a while with the chili and cheese on top of them. They also had a couple of different dipping sauces that you could grab when you go pick up your food. Overall I was very impressed with the whole meal and setup of the place. They have a drive-thru and have a number of different burgers, ice cream and shakes you can choose from. Hopefully they'll open one up a little closer here in the Richmond area, but if you're anywhere near one I would highly recommend checking them out.
