Mexican Salad

It was fine. Chicken, shrimp and steak (3 separate meals) were all cooked too long and unnecessarily salted. But it fits the bill for generalized Mexican food. It’s pretty inexpensive so it has that going for it. Just don’t expect AMAZING food. Unless all you’ve been exposed to is Taco Bell. Then this place will probably blow your socks off.

Had a great lunch this past Saturday. Frequent across the street more often but still stop by here from time to time. The large margaritas are only $15.00 which is cheaper and the shrimp cocktail is only $10.99 and the frozen lime marg that i had was strong, in a take-out cup, and had trouble finishing it due to the strength and size. the shrimp cocktail was absolutely off the hook. totally on point. best i've ever had and a steal at the price. the taco's were OK, not best ever or anything but the cocktail and margarita combo was a tough act to follow. it reminded me that i have to come here more often. a little lacking in atmosphere, could use a central bar.

This place never disappoints!! Our waitress was new but she did amazing! Such good food!

My wife and I have eaten here very often and have always been pleased. This past Saturday night not as much. We were immediately seated at a table but waited over 5 minutes before someone came to wait on us. This would not be normal. We received our complementary taco chips and salsa. The first thing we noticed that the chips were very brown like they were overcooked. And they tasted that way. My wife ordered a mojito and the waitress did not know what that was. She had to find someone to find out if they had them. Really. Our food came out quick and was good except for my meal. I had ordered the steak fajita taco salad. That was good except that the taco bowl that it comes was way to brown and overcooked. This as never been the normal way they do things. I hope this is not a downward trend. We will give them a pass this time and try it again

This food and service will make you want to slap your grandma! The chips (BEGINNING) were amazing. Hot and fresh! The food itself…if God came down and told you this was the peak of what food is…you’d believe him! All around, FANTASTIC!!!!

Very attentive staff. Good food good price. A large glass of shock top beer good value good taste.

Cancun and salsa verde enchiladas are awesome. Very flavorful, generous portions. Great customer service for pickup orders as well.

We ordered delivery and the food was cold with no cutlery also it was very poorly seasoned the chips were stale. Being that I eat authentic Mexican food pretty often I can tell you this is anything but that. Also they throw a Tomato slice on top and call that dish having tomato's in it.

First time ever in 62 years I have ever left a review but I promised the Manager I would so here it goes... My boys and I are long time customers of El Patron. We go there often and can say without question that we will never return. It's a shame that the manager sided with 3 of the most obnoxious, loud, foul mouthed women I've ever heard in a supposed family restaurant. Now I'm certainly no prude, and know my way around a cuss word or three, but the filth we had to listen to throughout our entire meal was beyond ridiculous. I spoke to the manager and I thought he understood that the behavior of the 3 women should not be tolerated in a family style restaurant but when we left, I saw him at their table laughing it up. Congratulations, you just lost a great customer who brings lots of business to your establishment. Perhaps you should take a look around at all the empty tables in your restaurant and realize that people like me have lots of choices where we spend our hard earned money and we don't ever have to put up with the nonsense we had to endure tonight.

Food was good and the service was fast. I would definitely come back. Just a bit loud atmosphere, but I think that's most great Mexican restaurants
