We found this place on a trip home from DC. When I say it was delicious, I mean everyone in our party LOVED their meal. The chips and salsa were amazing!! Best I have ever tasted… not so hot that it burned my tongue but so much flavor, we ate 3 baskets. The food was seasoned perfectly. Christina was our server she was so knowledgeable about the menu and helped us find just what we were looking for!! Christina if you see this, YOU are AMAZING!! Thank you!!
First visit here. The El Grand Squirto in Stafford went in the dumper so we're trying other Mexican places.This is an out of the way Mexican restaurant in a mostly vacant strip mall behind Giant grocery. Place is clean and decor is very nice. We were seated promptly. Down hill after that.The salsa that came with the chips was watered down tomatoes and cilantro. We were not provided any napkins or eating utensils when seated and had to ask the waitress for them when our meal was served.The wife ordered her shrimp chimmchimichanga soft with refried beans. It was served fried with rice. That was replaced with no apologies. Shrimp was cooked properly but the dish lacked any seasoning/flavor.My beef chimichangas were one ground beef and the other beef strips. The strips were tough and both had the same lack of flavoring. The refried beans were almost liquid with no flavor. The two waters both had a musty aftertaste. No sign of our waitress during the meal and no drink refills. We waited for over 10 minutes to get our check and had to stop the hostess to get it who appeared bothered by event but processed the transaction. Our impression was the wait staff just didn't care and the food was poor.*Note this review was completed without using ridiculous undiscriptive terms like OMG, awesome, yummy, delish, to die for, do your self a favor, trust me, etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No one cares about the waiter/waitress names, their abilities, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. No we don't care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.
My husband being from New Mexico, can be rather picky with his Mexican restaurants and this one is his local favorite. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is fast and the servers are always happy. Their burrito jimador is our favorite thing to order but we’ve never been disappointed by anything we’ve ordered. Their beans and rice are authentic and super delicious. Highly recommend!

Found this amazing restaurant by accident. Great food great atmosphere. Best Mexican restaurant I have found
There is a big corporate office across the street and this place specializes in getting you a good meal for a good price, sit down restaurant style, within a corpo lunch hour. The food has always been excellent.
Excellent food with large portions. Service also outstanding! Definitely would recommend. We will be back!

Nope. Just nope. Salsa is not impressive at all. Service was terrible. Waitress was unable to do anything for the frozen mixed drinks we ordered. She said she didn't know how after the third one came wrong. Half the food tasted frozen. Will not be back
