We’ve been getting take-out from this location for a few years now. They’re always nice and the food is good. Yeah, it’s “generic,” but it’s cooked right. They seem happy to see us when we walk in and even recognize my boyfriend’s truck. We moved to Caroline and still drive to this location because the closest Chinese spot to us now was disappointing.
ZERO STARS!!!! First off the lady that answered the phone was rude and hung up on me without even appropriate goodbye. Customer service is big for me ??♀️ Sorry not sorry, anyways I ordered shrimp lo mein with extra shrimp. I got extra shrimp AND ALUMINUM FOIL !! ?Called back at 10pm the rude lady answered explained to her what I found her response was “ I make new for you”. Umm not tonight maybe tomorrow. Well tomorrow comes and I decide I’m not gonna return for new food or future food. I call around 4pm once I got out of work and explain I am not interested in returning and would rather just like my money back. She tells me to call back later, I do and she instructed me that the owner would like the food back from 10pm last night. (Mind you it’s 8pm the following day ) and they don’t do refunds and never have.. Lol what!? Never going here again. Good luck check your food. Aluminum foil wasn’t fun chewing on.
We just bought our last meal at China King. 2nd time they disappointed us. Shrimp with Chinese vegetables was ordered. 3/4 of the container was soft broccoli. If we wanted Shrimp and broccoli, we would have ordered that. No fortune cookies and paid extra for fried rice. I would happily pay these inflated prices for GOOD Chinese food.. goodbye China King!
Hot and sour soup was so greasy it was not edible. Edd rolls were old and starch. Tossed those in the trash also. General Tsos chicken has zero flavor. Chicken chow me in was a moist mound of blandness. I had high hopes based on local Facebook reviews. Total waste of $$.
Wonderful service, sweet people.
Yummy! My test to determine if a Chinese restaurant cooks legit food is Kungpao Chicken, a very common dish in China. If the chef cooks that well, you can expect that the rest would be too. They passed.
Appeared they were doing what they could to minimize exposure as they have a complete plexiglass counter with a pass thru. Food was very good also
Some of the best [quick] Chinese food around.
Wanting this place to be better since it has an overall rating of over 4 stars but unfortunately it was just okay.Ordered General Tso Chicken lunch special, and I got it with white meat chicken, which they upcharged $1 since its "premium chicken" but all they did was use the Sweet and Sour chicken towards this meal and added General Tso sauce on top (not much might I add). I paid over $11 for this lunch meal and it was not worth it in my opinion (not much chicken in the meal, and the chicken I did get was more breading than white meat chicken).Unfortunately there is no more China House in this area meaning there is no more quality Chinese food spots around here, just okay places that fill the voids.
Always reliable and reasonable pricing. My only complaint is that the egg drop soup could be a little more stonger with the egg flavor. Other than that service and delivery times are great!
