Great food! Ate there 2 times in the week! Sky bar is sweet! Love it!
We were seated with menus quickly for dinner on a Monday evening, right next to the hostess area. It was not busy, however no one came by to help us or take our orders for over 10 minutes, despite numerous waiters and hostesses walking by and making eye contact. Very disappointed. Walked out after waiting for over 10 minutes and won't be back.
Castiglias delivers consistently great food. They are almost always busy and the service can sometimes vary, but they’ve been an iconic Fredericksburg restaurant for over 20 years. My kids grew up eating spaghetti here. They have continually reinvented their look and feel and expanded to include a wood fire oven, a popular bar, and a rooftop restaurant. They have great apps, drinks, sandwiches, pizzas, calzones, and Italian favorites. The atmosphere is casual, kid friendly, and can be noisy and busy at times. You can eat here on the cheap or go fancy. We stopped by today, Mother’s Day, for a quick lunch of a few apps and some carry out. Friendly bartenders helped us have a great time.
I visited this restaurant recently. I do not live in Virginia, my sister and I were visiting my brother, we are from Iowa. Walking by, I saw a man sitting outside on his phone, obviously FaceTimeing his family. He was so happy & laughing.❤️ I heard his language and immediately knew he was Italian. ?We entered this restaurant and I no idea it was where he worked. I figured he must be kitchen staff as he was dressed very informal and very casual. Come to find out , he and his brother moved from Naples at a very young age and created this phenomenal business.I saw this man behind the counter and I said You’re Italian! His answer was “welcome to my family” ❤️❤️Let’s be clear here - the service was over the top the food was fabulous. If I lived there - I’d be there Every Single Day! That’s enough info to intrigue you to stop in and experience this wonderful piece of heaven ❤️
We took so out-of-town friends to Castiglia's on a Friday night. We had a 40 minute wait, which was reasonable, as it was busy. Once seated at a table, we waited about 30 minutes before asking the manager if we could get service. The service was terrible. Our beers came after our food. The salads came once we were done eating our entrees. We had to find someone to give us our check. It was really, bad service. One of the worst service experiences we have had in years at a restaurant. The food was fairly good. As an aside, the bathrooms were awful. The mens room had the toilet seat broken off the the actual toilet. It was sitting on the floor in the bathroom. Paper towels were overflowed from the garbage and were everywhere on the floor. The bathroom was simply disgusting. There are better options up and down Williams Street.
Un excelente restaurante para festejar un cumpleaños en el Down Town de Fredericksburg - Virginia, con una comida deliciosa. Mi agradecimiento a su propietario y al personal por tan excelente atención en sus ambientes amplios y confortables.
This is one of the better restaurants in Fredericksburg. If you want the best Italian food, this is the place to go to. They have the BEST New York Style pizza. Of course you're had New York Style from other popular pizza chains but trust me, hands down this pizza beats all of those businesses in that category. The staff here are friendly and professional. It's cool that they have the roof on top. You have to try this place.
Come here often. Always forget to review but today, I decided to get the Fig & Prosciutto pizza….So so glad I did. It’s absolutely amazing. Sweet & Savory. They never disappoint in most things they do. Give ‘em try.
Amazing night life. Upbeat and crowded. Night dancing ?? music selection isn't that bad in my opinion. DJ had a good song playlist. Been here during the day and night and both environments are great. Lasagna is delicious eating on the top floor in great weather.
Amazing food for celiacs!! They prepare your food in an allergen free area to eliminate cross contamination. Pizza was wonderful, pasta was exquisite, and the fried calamari was to die for. Hadn’t had fried calamari at a restaurant for several years because of gluten risk. Was nice and quiet too, could actually hear my thoughts and were telling me to get more calamari…
