The pizza is not all that it’s actually pretty gross all it is is a giant slice of pizza I have tried multiple times to like this place and it just is a no go every time the flavor does not exist at all.
We were visiting Fredericksburg and had a family gathering of 8. The 28” pie is what they are known for and made sense for our dinner plans. Benny’s May special was the garlic/mushroom pizza and we added traditional pepperoni. They come thin sliced. Both were so good! Everyone was raving about how they enjoyed them. Not greasy and plenty of toppings. Can not wait to go there again!

I moved here 6 years ago from Chicago. There's not been one pizzeria I've found in va that can compare on any scale with Chicago pizza so starting off I am very biased.That aside, I liked Benny's more 6 years ago. I've been back a handful of times and I'm not necessarily gonna stop either. Problem for me is the regular pizzas are not very good. They're not horrible either. The price is great for what you get and it's rather a fun little place with good people working it. It's a very small pizzeria with little room for a dine-in experience but it's not really that kind of place either. There's a couple tables outside.If the pizza was better I would undoubtedly give it 4 stars. 5 is reserved for a piece of home I may never find so 4 is pretty damn good and 3 is a bit better than average.I tried the Buffalo chicken pizza this time and it was fire. Give it a chance. I think it is definitely perfect for a college town.
My daughter is a student at UMW and has been talking about this place for a couple of years. Finally got to go there while in town for a board meeting. The slices and whole pies are huge. This is some great pizza. Cool spot in downtown Fredericksburg. Will definitely go back.

If you like big, doughy pizza, with very little sauce, then this is your place. Almost every customer was ordering slices, yet they don’t have them ready. Waited 15 min for two plain slices. Hard pass for me.
Huge and delicious !!!! Freindly but busy staff. Organized but a little slow due to the volume of business. Worth the wait
Bring me the pizza!!!!!BEST PIZZA EVER!!!! One slice fed me and my daughter. We bought a pie and 2 extra slices and and fed 9 people. We were full. Always a great weekend idea with the family. Seating is limited. Always worth the wait, calling ahead is best. Friendly service. Go, go now!!!!! You won't regret it.
