Sketchy place inside at night with loud DJ and gambling machines. Food was on point however
Music was way too loud, sat that the bar. The bartender handed us a menu but couldn't hear anything she was saying. It was so dark in there that we couldn't see the menu as well. Really sketchy
It was too dark to even read the menu; the music was extremely loud (so loud that you could not have conversation, and the bartender/waitress could barely hear you; or you her), there appeared to almost be a brawl inside of the establishment...but the food we ordered was good, and the waitress/ bartender was friendly. BUT, the atmosphere was a little frightening, so we decided to take our food and hurry out. Even the first UBER we summoned canceled on us when it appeared to be only 50 ft away (we saw it across the street...don't know if he had seen us yet...dark outside. The 2nd UBER we summoned (additional 6-minute wait) picked us up, whew!!

came here earlier and experience was bleh. waitress was kind enough but had an overly fake "customer service" voice if you know what i mean. food was okay but not worth its price. the whole establishment looked kind of dirty and i was not greeted when coming in. My girlfriend said the place smelled but she did enjoy her asada tacos. she did say she felt uncomfortable in the enviorment, the place tended to attract weirdos, especially at night.
Ok. So i was looking for a place that did fresh Mexican food on the way home from work. I decided to try Taco Baja. It looked like a hole-in-the-wall place and i like that because i believe they are usually great places to eat. Well...i in this case i want to emphasize the word " usually ". Now...the food wasn't bad. It was pretty ok. I had a burrito, a hard shell taco, and a pork and cheese pupusa for 9.95 and a taquito plate for the same price. You may think " Wow! Thats not a bad price!" Well...the pupusa was the biggest item in the box and the taco shell was stale. However the taquitos that i had were pretty good. The gripe that i have is that the burrito was very, very small. Those should be a good size. And both items didn't come with rice and beans or anything which is typical with a Mexican restaurant. The good thing is that everything tasted fresh. The flavors weren't bad. Would i go back again? Probably for the taquitos but thats about it.
Order the steak tacos, food is made to order, tacos come with meat, onions tomatoes and parsley with flour tacos. The restaurant parking is hasstle but has good taco, kareoke music avaliable and alcohol is served.
Delicious food in this little place, friendly staff too!
Phenomenal carne asada tacos! Our waitress was very kind spoke and understood English perfectly was extremely accommodating with our order and definitely delivered way beyond our expectations! Can’t wait for my wife to come visit her friend again to bring everyone here to eat!
Not a family restaurant, mostly a bar where young guys get drunk. Limited English spoken by the wait staff. Not recommended.
