Ignore the slightly dark windows and they may give you paper plates, but this is excellent Thai food. We had the Blanky Shrimp for an appetizer: tender just cooked shrimp wrapped in a blanket of crunchy noodles. We also had the Yellow Salmon, which was a very flavorful yellow curry. Even though we ordered it mild, it still had a deep curry flavor.
Not good at all, oily, sugary sauces over undercooked vegetables and served on styrofoam plates with plastic forks and knives, but at fancy Thai restaurant prices. You can do way, way better.
My family has been coming here for years and we really enjoy their food and the prices are great! Staff are sweet and attentive. We’ve had many of the dishes but normally get the Pad Thai, Drunken noodles or Penang- all consistently good! We’re crossing our fingers we don’t lose them to Covid. My only suggestion is to bring back regular plates and silverware.
Great food and great service. You won't be disappointed.
Horrible!!!!! I got the veggie fried rice and it had RAW big pieces of onions and very undercooked vegetables. The calamari was tasteless and extremely oily and the sauce tasted like sugar water. I also got a lemonade and was asked if I wanted more to which I said yes, without knowing I'd be charged $4 for that refil. The bill was $30. I'm never going back.
Ordered the panang curry with tofu! perfect spice level, broccoli was done perfectly, generous lunch size portion.
Pad Thai and Thai ice milk tea for dine in was good. However I placed an order to-go for pad thai and pineapple rice; got two pad thais. Maybe they misheard me because I was wearing a mask. Still was very good pad thai.
Ordered the GAI-YANG, a $14 meal expecting a large portion and tasty food. Instead received two smalls pieces of chicken, a small bag filled with rice, and several pieces of completely plain vegetables. The chicken, rice, and vegetables were all extremely dry and unsatisfying. I would not even pay $5 for such a low quality meal. Don't understand why this place has more than 4 stars
The only Thai place I've found serving Sukhothai Noodle soup. It's my go to Thai restaurant
Best Thai food in Fairfax area! This is a family run restaurant with wayyy better food than T Thai. Located in Falls Church along Leesburg Pike it’s easy access, a quick pickup if you’re getting food to go eat at home. Easy to dine in, walk ins are fine! Whole family gets a booth, order is taken and food will arrive with in 10-15 mins! We get their Gai Sam Rod which is fried chicken in a crunchy batter and a hot sauce for dipping. The kids love it, everyone loves it. We’ve had their pad thai, pad see ew, drunken noodles, fried rice with or without pineapple and add a meat, shrimp is fresh and firm, Tom yung gung soup with fresh shrimp and little mushrooms always firm nothing soggy, massaman curry, Thai green, and red curry. We’ve asked for more eggplant, or no eggplant, more broccoli, more bamboo shoots, they are always happy to grant our request. We’ve had the salmon, all their fish is always fresh. They never use MSG or just have pad Thai with tomato sauce in it, you don’t have to worry about that here, it’s the real deal Thai food family restaurant. We’ve been coming here for years and it never fails, it’s always yummy and fast and clean and friendly. What more could one ask for!
