Been wanting to come here for ages and finally did on Sunday night. Love the vibe, the staff, the 80s robot butler. The hubs and I split the totchos and a sandwich each. So delicious! Have decided that avocados were invented just to go on their vegan chicken sandwich I tried. Beers were great too. Will be back! Thank you for keeping late hours as well!
I wanted to check this place out after going to Galaxy Hut. The atmosphere is chill with obscure movies being played. It has a great beer selection and menu is super vegetarian and vegan friendly. This time we ordered the Pesto Control and grilled cheese #3 with tomato soup. The tots are divine and out of this world. If you come for any reason whatsoever, order some tots.
Without a doubt a hidden gem in falls church. You have to try their specialty, the grilled cheese. Please make sure you bring you ID only 21+ allowed.
Imagine being a grown up kid who suddenly can do whatever s(he) wants. I think the embodiment of that spirit in a restaurant could look a lot like Spacebar (coupled with the record store next door).Fun, chill place. Great beers, grilled cheese, and tater tots.Tater tots aren’t only meant for freezers and school cafeterias.
First visit and it was right across street from my hotel. Excellent beer selection. Being from Illinois, I don’t get a chance to try East Coast beers. The ones I tried were excellent. Heard the food is good but did not try.
Environment is okay, service is abysmally slow (Thursday evening, approx 80% capacity). The tots are good and the sandwiches are good but not 35-40 min wait level of good. Pretty good variety of beer as well.
Great food and beers on tap in a chill bar with a laid back vibe. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Recommend the meatloaf grilled cheese or the Churipapa with pork. Also, make sure to get a side of their delicious tots!
Well, that was amazing. The grileld cheeses were comfortingly delicious. The ambience was welcoming warm,good chill vibes. Great selection of beers and homemade sauces for dipping ur tots or sandwich. It was everything!
Spacebar is that rare thing, a nearly perfect restaurant for what they are. And what they are is the best beer, grilled cheese, and tater tot nacho (tacho) place in the area. They have a wide selection of draft beers, with something for every palate, and a large number of grilled cheese options, plus make your own. The tachos are magical and you can add anything to them that can go on the grilled cheese. Spacebar isn't something I would eat every day, but when you want some warm cheesey comfort food and some cold beer, it's one of the best places in Nova.
Always seen this bar driving by but never stepped in till the other day. And from my first time going I can easily say this is my new favorite bar. From the beer to the cheese sandwiches to the atmosphere, everything about it was great. Bar tender and cook were pretty cool, definitely coming back
