service is very friendly and great, the food is amazing. was recommended by a friend, feel like we have almost tried everything now. brought family back to try as well, and recommended to other friends. will be back again!* can’t go back to regular Thai tea now, their Thai tea with lime is delicious??
Been here many times over the years, love the food here and the staff are all very kind. Great experience every time.
This review is long overdue because my husband and I eat/order from here so much but Just want to rave about how amazing every single dish we’ve tried so far has been. Our absolutely favorite which we get LITERALLY every single time even if we are not that hungry is the Naem Khao Thadaeu (crispy coconut rice salad with sour pork). We’ve also tried the Sai Oua, Laab, Orm, Crispy Basil, some of their curries and noodles which have all been so flavorful. This is such a dependable spot where we aren’t afraid to try anything on their menu because they are always great so we absolutely love it. Thanks for all the yummy food throughout the years Padaek!
Wow. The food here is complex and delicious!!
We went on a non busy afternoon and seating was cool. Food was super good, if you like Thai food you’ll love this place. We got the crispy basil with chicken and the drunken noodles with chicken. Both dishes are a must try. So much flavor…
This restaurant has really gone downhill which is unfortunate because I love following Chef Seng and am so happy to have a Lao restaurant nearby. But the last few times have gotten gradually worse. All the food tastes like smoke. Today we ordered Laab, Neem Khao, and Gaeng Som. The Neem Khao is so soggy it is inedible. I had to throw it out. It's never been this bad. And the laab tastes like it was cooked in an unwashed wok with a burnt flavor to it. On top of that the prices have gone up substantially in the last 2 years and the portions have decreased dramatically. 4 shrimp in the gaeng som? The soup size is barely a single serving. You used to get the same amount as you would have in a large pho. Now it's a small container and $2 or $3 more. Really disappointing. You can't feed a family of 3 on less than $80I hope they pull it back together. We used to eat here weekly. I don't think we will be back unless something changes. I hope the new restaurant in south Arlington is better.
Fantastic restaurant. Some of the most unique Thai food I've had in the area. Not just the standard phad thai and green curry, they have some really interesting, flavorful stuff I haven't found outside of Thailand. Really delicious. Friendly service too.
Worst Panang Curry I've ever had. It tastes like nothing but hot chili. No coconut. No fragrant peanut hints. Just hot spicy water that is an orange/white color.
The whole fried pompano fish was okay. The chili sauce wasn't really that outstanding. The fish was fried nicely though. The drunken noodle was flavorful although not very spicy. The noodles were cooked well.Overall, the meal was okay but probably would not return due to better thai food in the area.
Everything was wonderful and the no contact pickup table worked exactly as planned. Super easy to park and pop in, we took our meal over to a nearby park with picnic tables for a fabulous meal. Get the specials! They’re delicious
