So disappointing! Went for Shrimp Egg Foo Young, with high hopes, as it was the only place I found that had it. It was terrible. As in won't even be able able to finish it terrible, and I usually love leftovers. Gravy was very watery and completely flavorless. Egg patties over cooked and flavorless. Also had shrimp tempura, mouth flooded with oil just biting into it. Nasty! From this experience, will never go back.

No no no! Ordered food from here and everything was rancid! Like it was old or stored in a refrigerator that doesn't work. This place used to be good but something is going on. Order at your own risk. I wasted money and had a stomach ache from the little that I tasted. Really unacceptable.

Everyone is missing out if they don't try the Chicken with Fresh Hot Peppers at least once. One of the best things on the menu, flavor packed, not breaded, big portion, and actually spicy but still dynamic. In my experience, not too many places have this dish or something like it.

We just moved here from NY. This place is pretty good for food & price!I will come again! Thanks!

Best Chinese food within a 5 mile radius of Falls Church. Fairly priced and great taste. Egg rolls are a MUST!

This Chinese food is good American Chinese fare. I stop by here and take out on days I'm short on time. The restaurant is not for days when you are looking for great ambience or service but the food is a good take out option

Best Chinese food in Nova! It's noticably fresher and more tasty than other ones we've tried.

Exactly what I want in a neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Reliably tasty food for reasonable prices. This is the "greasy spoon" end of the spectrum, not fine dining. Go in expecting some delicious comfort food whose nutrition facts you may not want to know.Portions vary by dish but are often generous - if I get an appetizer I usually end up putting some leftovers away. The food is packed well for takeout/delivery. Even in pre-Covid times, I've never actually eaten in.You may not find too many surprises in the menu compared to the next American Chinese restaurant. Where North China Cafe stands out is doing all those mainstays better than most.

For a small local place the food is remarkably good and well priced

Delicious! Definitely our new go to spot for Chinese food. We got General Tso’s chicken, crispy beef, pork fried rice, egg drop soup and crab wontons. All of it was tasty and was still good for leftovers the following day!
