Had an amazing experience at Marks Pub. Our bartender Sean made sure that I was happy at all times and gave great recommendations on food. He met all my expectations and exceeded them. This is my new spot thanks to our amazing bartender.

They serve excellent food, offer a fantastic happy hour, and daily specials. There were many options for vegetarians to pick from, and they are quite accommodating. I absolutely suggest visiting this location!

A fantastic tiny bar is Marks Pub. It possesses a feature that few bars in this area have. Character. The staff is excellent.

As a vegetarian there were different foods to choose from and they are very accommodating. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

Classic and classy. Everything you want, less of what you don’t. Perfect Wednesday post work beer.

First time here, the ambience was good, the drinks were okay but at a good price.Sadly there was some confusion with some fries we were served and I initially thought "how cool, it's like Rudys in NYC" that is a watering hole with free hot dogs when you order drinks, but later discovered it was a mistake (someone outside on a table ordered them and it was somehow served to the bar, we were not even close and I don't get how that could have happened)... In retrospect I suppose I should have asked about them but I was having a nice conversation, when I understood the confusion I offered to pay them as I didn't mind, but the bartender didn't allow me and just said that I should have told him, and when I explained my assumption he just said "this isn't NYC"... Well you don't say, life there is even more expensive and it's a more difficult city and despite that there's a great place like that. In fact I ordered the second round just because we got the fries and I naively thought that was cool to find a place like that in DC, so maybe it's a good business idea for you if you ask me, because otherwise we would have left after the first round. By the way it's not only NY, in Spain it's also commonplace to get something to munch when you order drinks, and they aren't going bankrupt for that and they seem to be selling a lot of drinks.Well, this is just my two cents, not exactly a complaint.

Five stars for the pretzels and cheese. Delicious.Editing to add that they keep adding great stuff to the menu. Crawfish Monica dish was awesome!

The owner makes an awesome Mexico Mule l, Margarita, Long Island Iced Tea, and probably any cocktail you want!!

The food was not good and service was subpar. Seemed like it was an okay place, but didn't have enough tables and was very small inside. Came late and on a few occasions when last call came, there were always 10 to 15 people still inside after the male bartender told everyone else to leave. He locked the door with always others left inside. I've observed this happening on a number of occasions. So last call, isn't apparently last call, and why were some staying when everyone else was told to leave?

Real down to earth hard working folk grabbing a brew and a shot. Good food. Great karaoke Party on.
