The food is absolutely incredible. I do think the cost of fries is steep for the amount you get. Also we found the amount of TVs super distracting.But the food. This is totally a place I would get take out from.
This was our first visit and we were underwhelmed by the food. The potato latkes were nothing more than flattened tater tots -- they needed onions, some spices! The steak and cheese eggroll was OK; I guess we should have known that meant the eggroll was deep-fried. The meat was good and the cheese a fine amount -- not too much. The scoop of egg salad was simply chopped up eggs. How about some pizzaz? Maybe some celery, onion, mustard, mayo, pepper?? Anything to add some flavor. Location is OK, plenty of parking. Staff very helpful and quick.
Food was excellent, service good. A bit slow due to a group of 30 in front of the house, but employees were apologetic and accommodating. All good items had generous portions and were very tasty.
I’ve spent the majority of the past 33 years living and working in the DC area. This place was always a go to lunch spot for and my co workers. I’m assigned out of DC at present time, but I came into town last night, and made a stop here today for lunch. Celebrity club sandwich and Matzah ball soup still outstanding!
We were all blown away by the Passover Seder menu. My guests couldn’t believe how fluffy the matzah balls were and the soup was filled with deliciousness! The brisket was so yummy, the chopped liver to die for!! From ordering to picking up couldn’t have been better!! Thank You!! Warm up was so easy too!!
The tuna melt sandwich had so much tuna in it that I had to scoop a lot out. I should've bought a loaf of bread to take home and make one or two more sandwiches with all the excess tuna. The flavor was good though so next time I will ask them to put like a third of the tuna, but more lettuce, tomato, etc. I hate customizing menu items but I guess I would do that here.
So they don’t have paper menus. You go online and watch a youtube video. I couldn’t zoom in on the video of the menu, so I ordered what I would make at home but paid $40. Also would have liked to see brunch menu but I didn't want to watch more youtube.First red flag should have been how empty it was at 9am on a Sat. Regretted ordering and should have just opted out.
