If you use Google maps, it’ll take you to the back where parking is not allowed. Just fyi. There is some parking on the other side. We ended up parking in the garage down the block.We tried the vanilla and cookies & cream. Get some toppings to add flavor. We ended up adding M&M’s to ours.
Went here on 4th of July, it was pretty crowded, but they made the ice cream quickly. The ice cream is good.
Solid place for a scoop. Lately been here a few times since I can't always make the trek to Peterson's in Clifton. Both of these ice cream parlors are my favorite by far. They don't use Hershey's either, it appears to be from a creamery I've never heard of before but it's really good. Will find out next time when I visit. Lots of great options to choose from for everyone. Parking is ehh, so don't fret if a spot isn't available, may have to talk a walk. But it's worth it. Cool spot in downtown ffx.
Premier local city of Fairfax ice cream place. It will be packed whenever you go, but just relax and enjoy the visit. The ice cream is great, the choices are numerous and the servings are generously sized. The people watching is great too. Woody's has been a Fairfax high point for thirty or so years I think and has been at its current location for over 10 years. The biggest issue is parking. The immediate lots are small and usually full. I recommend you use the two large free public parking garages a block away to the north. Try it, you'll like it.
Great soft serve and scooped ice creams with lots of available options. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Plus they do vanilla soft serve pup cups! This is always where we go for an ice cream fix.
Ice cream was really bland. I tried the Oreo, peanut butter milkshake, coffee ice cream, and chocolate. Only the coffee had any flavor. Everything else was just frozen milk with a hint of flavor. Won’t be coming back. Not worth the calories.
I stop by with mi son for a ice cream but we decide for ice cream, delicious flavor and great costumer service from Sheina . Coming back again with the all family.

It shouldn’t take 30 minutes to get a few scoops of ice cream, but when this place gets busy that’s what to expect. It’s a bad experience. We left without our ice cream, without even trying to get a refund- the line is that long. The management should know better and should not run short-staffed on weekend afternoons with nice weather.
Nice and large scoops, tasty ice-cream. Fun little outdoor and indoor areas. Close to the old Fairfax park. Fun place to chill and hangout.
