I've shopped at the Fairfax Wegmans for over 10 years. Today, a man was in the store with no mask. I talked to many Wegmans employees and was told that they were dealing with him. I kept seeing him with no mask and talked to customer service for a final time before leaving. They told me that security said that they talked to him and decided to leave him alone. When I told the man that he needed a mask he just said, "No I don't." He had no medical excuse, just an attitude of superiority. Wegmans chose him over a longtime loyal customer.

Avoid it as long as we have the pandemic. No masks in half the people including the employees, no social distancing, crowded as any other day! So disappointed! Inexcusable!
I was SHOCKED to see the number of employees not wearing masks, wearing gloves but not changing them between uses (defeating the entire point of gloves), lack of sanitizing stations, and how extremely crowded the store was. Even though they claimed that they were limiting capacity, you could not tell it. No one maintained social distancing. I did not feel safe in the store and will not be returning until after the pandemic. I have a loved one currently dying from Covid-19, and I do not want your employees or customers and their families to have to experience such a devastating loss.
I felt safe and distanced shopping at wegmans today - but the awareness factor of other humans and their “personal space” is very evident.
