sushi is really good! pad thai is not really good but i ate it the next day so maybe that's why?. service was good and didn't take long

This place is a mess. I’m still waiting in the restaurant for my pickup order 1.5 hr after I placed it when it was supposed to be ready 30 min after placing it. No acknowledgment when I entered the restaurant and when I was finally able to ask about my order all they said was “ok”. No reassurance. No time estimate. Just “ok”.Here I am still waiting with 5 other people for our delayed orders that are being packed by two careless young women in hoodies who are in over their heads with orders and do not know the meaning of service. Bare hands touching all of the unpacked food items sprawled all over the restaurant counter as more customers pile in waiting for their pickup orders.I’ve lost my appetite.

I went to Waraku with a group of friends for dinner. A few of us had some complaints and issues with the restaurant, including myself. The negatives:Their table we sat at was very sticky and so were the menus. One of the chairs was very unbalanced due to one of the legs presumably broken.Service was "acceptable". Nothing noteworthy. The rolls were personally unacceptable for me. Some of them were mushy, and most of them just fell apart on their own. At some point I thought to myself that using a spoon would be easier. The taste was acceptable but I really wouldn't come here for "good" sushi/sashimi/rolls.I ordered the Chirashi which involved an assortment of fish and sushi rice. As mentioned earlier the fish was alright.Chirashi also came with a complementary 'salad' and miso soup. The salad consisted of what seemed to be iceberg lettuce, a singular slice of cucumber, and a small strand of a carrot. The miso soup was personally very bland and consisted of a singular tiny square of tofu.I also had the absolute worst stomachache of 2022 later that night. It was so painful and sudden. I struggled so much that night. The positives:Within the Chirashi contained a bed of sushi rice. The sushi rice was very delicious and I considered it the best part of the Chirashi. The food was arranged beautifully on plates.Their prices are fairly reasonable - for the most part.

Literally never write a review because I don't usually care, but my Fried Rice order was so good I wanted to leave a review! Reasonable price, good portion, and very tasty.

It's extremely rare for me to give 1 star but I'm not going to pad this in any way because this is exactly what they deserve. In no particular order: * We arrived about 2.45PM and they were mopping the floor with some very bleachy-smelling solution that was wayyy too strong to be used in a restaurant during open house. We discussed walking out but had been driving for almost 2 hours and needed some food & decided to stick with it. * There was only ONE other table seated when we arrived. A staff member greeted us after a couple of mins and asked for our drink order. We asked a hot tea and two waters. 5 mins later no drinks still. Another 5 mins and a different person brought us our two waters but no hot tea. *12 mins after we placed the drink order the hot tea arrives & only then did they take our food order. We ordered a few of our usual sushi go-to items: SUSHI: Yellowtail, Tuna, Eel SHRIMP TEMPURA SEAFOOD RAMEN Tempura: I've been eating Japanese tempura since the late 1970's. I knew as soon as I took my first bite this place uses a cheap and nasty pre-battered frozen shrimp. I work in the foodservice industry and you see this stuff all over the place now unfortunately and lower-end 'japanese' restaurants and it's just not very good . The texture of a frozen tempura shrimp bears almost no resemblance to a fresh hand-dipped tempura. The shrimp also had faint ammonia smell to it and was almost inedible. It's also been prepared on a skewer and is perfectly straight, and unnatural, which is not the way fresh hand dipped tempura comes out. The Yellowtail sushi was clearly frozen previously. Some fish can still be good if flash frozen and thawed properly, but in general sushi should be FRESH FISH, and then was not. It was watery, mushy and had strings of muscle that are common in the cheapest cuts of 'sushi' fish, rather than the tender loin cuts that are pure meat and no connective tissue. Tuna wasn't as bad but still less than optimal. Eel was the only one of the 3 that was just OK. I mean eel is frozen anyway, and you have to really screw up to make it inedible. The seafood ramen was the only dish that we had that actually had good flavor and a nice selection of seafood. SERVICE: A fairly young guy of maybe early 20's took our food order but some girl delivered it. After the food was served the guy, our 'waiter' NEVER ONCE came back to the table. Instead he sat down in the booth RIGHT NESIDE OURS and was watching some kind of video on his phone the entire time we are, even though our water glasses and hot team were empty. He never checked to see how we were doing, or ask if the food was good - NOTHING but watching his very important video. THREE TABLES in the restaurant, and we can't get a refill on our water? I'm really just disgusted even taking the time to write this but it's not fair to keep people from spending their hard-earned money at a place that isn't even TRYING to do the basics. I get it that this place chooses to take shortcuts on the quality of the food they serve, but at least back it up with solid, friendly service and you might have a chance. But this was beyond insulting and I will never ever go back again. I work too hard to blow money on this type of slop.

Pretty good rolls. Have eaten in and ordered out. Consistent preparation; never gotten bad food from them.

Or family really enjoys this restaurant. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The variety on the menu is great and the sushi is delicious!!

This sushi place has really fresh salmon avocado eel rolls, my go to is the salmon avocado hand roll. I always go to them for delivery when I want fresh sushi. You can see from the pics how fresh the sushi ingredients are. Generous large portions of salmon and avocado and seaweed salad. I highly recommend this place if you’re a sushi lover but also want to make sure your raw fish is fresh.

I regularly order the maki combo and these rolls are BIG. The amount of salmon I'm given in my salmon roll is incredible and it's always fresh every time I've ordered. At one point they forgot to pack my side of soup and salad when I ordered take out but offered to drop it off for me for free. I ended up going back myself, but it pleases me knowing that these people are willing to treat their customers very well.

The food is very good, especially the Nigiri, but I can't handle their inaccurate delivery estimates any longer. We have ordered from here SO MANY times and it is just consistently at least a half hour more than they predict. Currently going on 2 hours since I ordered, still without my food.
