Meh. Servers ignored us at bar. Empty water too. Try meat in quesadilla. So many other options around there not sure this was special enough to return
Pulling off a good Mexican restaurant is hard. You're never authentic enough for the hard core foodies and never elevated enough for mass appeal. Urbano does a fantastic job of it. It's not a hole in the wall at all. It's an out and proud, main street restaurant that wouldn't be out of place on a Mexican high street. Give it a try, I dare say you won't be disappointed!
Great weather; ate outdoors. Parking garage across the street. Prices rising, but what can you do?
Graduation Luncheon
Very good Mexican food! We celebrated Mother’s Day here and we were not disappointed. The margaritas were tart but not overpowering. For starters, we ordered the guacamole with our endless chips and it was excellent. The main courses ranged from enchiladas, burritos, carnitas tacos and Birria tacos. The Birria was excellent with cheese and red sauce. We will definitely return.
This place is very pretty and vibrant, and the location makes you believe this would be a good place to stop. But my experience here we not good. The chips was a bit too crushed and the salsa was too runny but had a good level of spice which I did enjoy. The chips were very thin and flaky, I enjoyed the thin part but I don’t want to be reaching for my water to combat the dust in my throat. As my starters I got the Shrimp Ceviche and the Elotes, both of which were okay. The Ceviche could’ve used more onions, and the choice to add mandarins was weird, but it was enjoyable to eat. The Elotes were nice and tangy, although I would not recommend using lime for this one, for me, the lime did not compliment well with the cheese. My main course was a taco salad that had no salad. It was essentially a bowl of chicken, which was soggy and tasted like it was from a can. It was obvious that cheap ingredients were used, to me, it’s the same level of quality as Taco Bell. Aside from the food, the service was fine, and restaurant itself was cute, but I don’t think it was enough to justify the price and food.
Great Mexican food and well priced. Great location in Mosaic with with lots of outdoor seating.
Excellent staff and service. Excellent, tasty food. with the weather so agreeable, the front and side windows were open- Very nice! All-around great meal and dining experience.
