I got my meal to go. The lady at the counter was very nice. That’s all the good stuff I have to say. I ordered two enchiladas. The box they were in was turned sideways and all the sauce dropped out. ON MY FLOOR! The enchiladas were just good. They were very small. I got guacamole and cheeses dips. The cheese was lumpy. Guacamole was tasteless. How do you screw up guacamole?all in all, not a pleasant experience.
I've been going to Tippys for over 30 years now. Always great customer service but with today's order "The California Burrito Dinner" i noticed they cut back with the ground beef in the burrito..
Tippy's is hole-in-the-wall local flavor at its best!! Highly recommend. It is a local franchise, with several locations, and I haven't been to one that wasn't excellent.Don't expect frills, just walk in and get some good cheap delicious food.

Our family loved it! Restaurant was clean. We had very friendly fast service and the food was very authentic Mexican. Their pricing is very reasonable. I can honestly say that their guac is the absolute best I've ever had. I would suggest the triple dip as a starter to every meal.
I love this place is a nice quiet chilled place to come with family. The food is great and delicious., The person that assist you is very nice and respectful and, your food order comes fast you do not have to wait long and we’ll cooked. Very pleased, I 100% recommended.
The cheese is cheese sauce!!!! I ordered a enchilada dinner and asked what type of cheese she answered shredded… welll this looks like soup. It was hot but not enchiladas.
Definitely needs to be more chicken in the Grilled Fajitas Chicken Burrito. The meat tacos I had were good. I'm Glade you offer Birch Beer soda as beverage. Very tasty..
This spot is not fancy. That is why I go here. One of the few old school spots left in the DMV area. Used to be a larger chain but I believe a few have closed. Great food and great value.
