We love wine flight night and appreciate input from the sommelier.
We love the wine house. But disappointed and surprised by our experience this evening 08/05/22. We have been dining and going to events here for many years. A great establishment with wonderful wine and food. Which is why when we stopped by today Friday, Aug. 5 at 9:06 p.m. (on website, and Google and door they close at 10 p.m.) to share a bottle of wine among four of us, we were told that they had already announced last call and would be gathering glasses in 20 min. so they couldn’t seat us. The dining room was half full and the bar was almost full to capacity. Very disappointing experience to be turned away at a wine bar on a Friday night an hour before closing. We even offered to not order any food and just wanted to share a bottle. But were still turned away.
Food and service were exceptional! Teresa took great care us. The wine list is like none other! Highly recommend this restaurant for lunch, brunch, or dinner with friends, colleagues, and dates. A Fairfax city gem. Canât wait to go back for the free wine tasting on Saturdayâs!

The Wine House is an excellent choice to relax with friends over a glass of wine and excellent food. The service is attentive and helpful without being overbearing. It also has an excellent patio with a fountain nearby.
Wonderful evening. Our server Ashley was amazing. The only reason the food wasnât a five was because the potatoes came out cold. Not even Luke warm. While the food was delicious, the kitchen needs to step up their game a bit. But overall a wonderful evening
What a cute place for dinner paired with beautiful wines! It's pretty small but they have a bar, high tops, and regular tables.
great ambience and great food. We had an extremely enjoyable meal with friends. Everyone thought their meal was delicious ( I had the cod and others had the chicken and steak special) and we had an excellent bottle of wine to accompany the meal . Dont miss the desserts - loved the crème Brulee Also, appreciate that the sound level was reasonable for good conversation!

We've been coming off and on since about late 2019. Food and service is good as always. They changed up the wine menu some and we missed the old wines they used to have on the list (ie. the Riesling they used to have 2019-2021ish (Mosel, Germany) was swapped for a different brand and location).Food wise we highly recommend the shrimp and grits. Also got the fries with aioli.. amazing ?. These have been are tried and true menu items.We definitely plan to come back again.Parking: Free parking in the parking deck (limited to 2 hours).
