Not a great experience. Pizza is mediocre and dry. Cheese was not really melted all the way, and dough was blah. Plates and napkins are cheap. Probably also tells me their ingredients are too. Staff is lazy talking amongst each other, with limited assistance. I am the only person in line, and they want me to order through the touch screen. I am very savvy, with monitors and touch screens, but why do I need to do this, when you have your team that can do it, especially with no line. Took me a good 4-5 minutes to order. Then they have the nerve to ask for a tip on the touch screen. I still did anyways with 20% but why? They didn't even bring my food to my table. They just called my name to come get it. I had to throw all my trash away. Don't ask for tip, if there is no assistance anywhere in the place. No help at all. If I was a betting man, this place will not be here in 2 years. Putpettela will put it out of business. Actually was going to go there, but they were not open, due to still training. Retrain your lazy staff. Buy better plates and napkins.
Glad I found this place. The Giorgio was a great sandwich and also had the meat lovers pizza. The food was artfully prepared and service was very quick. Definitely will be back since I will be staying in the Mosaic area for the next few weeks.
A tasty little restaurant with good food and especially delectable deserts, particularly the cannoli. My only complaint, however, was the diminutive serving sizes. A $6 caprese salad gets you exactly 2 slices of tomato, 3 slices of mozzarella, basil, and dressing.
Update; they replied my review asking email them and I did BUT THEY DID NOT RESPOND After that.I have ordered 2 Pizzas using Groupon but what they gave me is barely cooked dough, that none of us eat it after a bite.I called about it their responses even disappointing.
AMAZING!! It was my first time ordering I work a few doors down. The customer service is 100% and the food.... OMG I am a huge pasta lover. The food was deliciously great. I can't wait to stop by with my kids for some Italian food soon.
A bit pricey(based on a larger restaurant)compared to other Italian spots I’ve eaten at throughout the DMV..yet the atmosphere is pleasant and charming. The staff was a super help. When you come you either scan the QR code (on the door) and/or use the touch screen to make your order. Nice place!!
Went there recently with my kids. They had pizza and loved it! A while back I went to their old town location for a sub. Very good!I also got to meet the owners, very friendly and inviting.Highly recommend this place!
Wonderful dining experience in the Mosaic District! The pepperoni pizza was everything you'd want it to be fresh, hot and delicious! The staff was super friendly and helpful. While you are there make sure to browse the marketplace and all of the imported goods that they carry. From imported Italian wines to olive oils, the market has many unique items that you will have a hard time finding anywhere else in the area.
I got the eggplant Parmesan dinner for two which came with a wonderfully fresh arugula salad, perfectly baked whole baguette, and superb cannoli and it was surprisingly AMAZING - the meal turned an ordinary Friday evening into a spectacular one - 5/5 recommend! ??
Awesome food, great staff and such a cool shop. its a little hidden down in that corner of the mosaic but a true gem. the Italian wedding soup is phenomenal. This has become a weekly food spot.
