We specially drove to this restaurant for dinner and when we got there they refused to give us a table. Although they had a whole section in the front that was available and proper seating was free to serve customers. reason for not giving us a table by the lady server was that they were currently hosting a party in the other hall and they will not seat any daily guests for dining. all I feel is they should advertise on website so customers are not wasting time driving specially to this restaurant. If you turn down walk-in customers and regular customers due to hosting events. Then. You should only advertise as a event venue and not a restaurant..
I attended a private lunch buffet service at this restaurant that was set up for friends and family to celebrate a graduation. Well the restaurant was nicely decorated the service and timeliness of when food was served to the guests was poor. Most of the guests arrived by 11:00 and waited for appetizers to be served. It wasn't until noon time when the appetizers were put out. People were so hungry that they filled up on appetizers. The main meal was served 1 hour after the appetizers after 1:00 by that time people were all full up on appetizers. When the main meal was served nobody was hungry at that point. I felt that they purposely did that so they wouldn't have to keep replenishing the main meal once they set it up for the first time. Also they purposely set turned off the AC in the restaurant where people felt very uncomfortable. The wife of the owner is very rude and always was looking to cut corners and not deliver on what they agreed upon. They certainly did not replenish items in the buffet and were quick to shut down the buffet. All in all it was a very disappointing experience
We went here with a group and had multiple items to share Salad: wilted iceberg lettuce samosas: small and tasty rice and dal: nothing special but was edible naan: OK, nothing special Mixed veggies: totally tasteless lacking any spice Chicken with veggies: v dry, tasteless, lacking any spice Perhaps it was the choice of dishes but have never eaten such bland tasteless food.
Every dish I've had there has taken a part of me back to Nepal. Hands down the best Nepali restaurant in the Fairfax area. Don't miss out on Momo and Nepali Thali.
Tandoori restaurant and party place is one of the best restaurants and party halls in dmv area. I booked this party hall for my daughter’s weaning ceremony party and I must say my experience was beyond expectations. The foods were mouth watering even at looking at the trays, tasted amazingly delicious ?Very efficient and polite staffs, who were available through out the party whenever we needed them. I recommend this restaurant for any kind of gatherings. They have huge space with a stage and dance floor, which I loved so much.We would like to thank Tandoori Fairfax for their phenomenal service and delicious foods.
Beautiful place to host events. Shyam was very helpful, pleasant and accommodating. We had the bar area covered and worked great for our Muslim crowd ! Celebrated our daughters birthday!
We had two in our party with dairy allergies, one vegetarian. Our server checked carefully with the kitchen and came back with 5 "safe" main dish recommendations and the surprising information that they usually add milk to the rice! We ordered 4 of the 5 recommended entries, all delicious; a roti (fresh made dairy-free bread) for each of us; and the chef made milk-free rice just for our table. Thank you, Tandoori Nights!
One of the best South Asians restaurants in the town. Nepalese/Indian/ Indo Chinese foods. I usually get there moms and chowmein but today I tried Thali instead it's amazing ???Definitely try if you love Nepalese food
I ordered kadhai paneer and it was basically paneer and veggies drowning in oil as you could see! I have had khadai paneer before, it’s one of my favorite, never saw one dropping in oil like the one in the picture.I called them and they were like we can’t do anything about it!
