By far the best Hibachi experience I’ve ever had. The whole staff was incredible and nice, chef went the extra step for the kids. And on a slow Tuesday night, with this awesome energy that made it well worth it. This is going to be our “go to” place for hibachi. Right in the middle of University mall, who would have known. See y’all again soon!
We celebrated my wife's birthday here, it was everything I expected, the chef's tricks on the grill, the banter with the chef and other customers, the fun of watching your food prepared in front of you. The waiters and service were excellent, they sing Happy Birthday, give you a balloon, they take care of you when it's your birthday. So much more fun than a traditional meal. The sashimi was excellent, and the ingredients were nice and fresh. Manager Chang was also great and took good care of us. We will definitely be back.
Normally this is place are my favorite Sushi Place. I always went there every for my special day. They always have a good sushi and sashimi. I went to this place today celebrate Mother’s Day. I was ordered Combo Sushi. The taste difference not fresh and ginger taste like rancid. I already told my server but she just only said sorry and didn’t change anything for me. Now I have bad experiences from the place I love to go celebrate every my special days. Now I don’t think I want to go back to this place again.
We love coming here, great ambiance and people. David the manager was very accommodating and our chef - Ryan - did an amazing job tonight. We love that they give noodles and fried rice! Also you MUST try the Tokyo Shrimp here it is FANTASTIC!! The filet mignon melts in your mouth love the salmon lobster and scallops too. Their ginger sauce, yum yum sauce, AND salad dressing are all on point. It’s hard to find a place that does everything as well as Samurai. We drive from Ashburn just to come here for hibachi.
I absolutely loved this place. The food and tea were delicious, and they give you a lot for what you pay at lunch. The service was also amazing. The restaurant is really cute as well.

First time here. I had to wait almost 10 mins for someone to come to the front and assist us. Then the chef who made the hibachi food didn’t season the food well only used a little bit of seasoning and little bit of butter. The chicken was very chewy but everything else was okay. The other thing that bothered me was there was an employee standing behind me the entire time? I guess to make sure people don’t run off without paying? But it made me feel very uncomfortable that he was standing there right behind us the whole time. The waiter who helped us was very nice that’s why I’m giving 3 stars. I’ve had way better hibachi than this. I literally LAUGHED OUT LOUD when someone said this place is better than Benihana’s ? I’d rather travel all the way to Alexandria for sumo hibachi. First and last time coming here :(
We went for a special birthday lunch for my husband’s birthday, five adults and two children (age 7). The place looks beautiful, the chef cooked our food beautifully (with large portions) and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. But we then received an unexpected magic show at our table which lasted over 15 minutes and we all really enjoyed it, especially the kids. They also gave my husband a special dessert and sang Happy Birthday with a drum and the kids had tambourines with lights. All these extras truly made our birthday celebration very special. Highly recommend coming here for special occasions!!
A fun and tasty place to eat. Our hibachi chef was fascinating to watch. He did a number of tricks for us. Our food was excellent and the staff attentive and prompt. A great place to go for a special occasion, though their birthday song was loud, enthusiastic, and terrible at the table near us. They also have Chinese and Japanese (sushi) dining in their very large restaurant. Portions are generous. Call ahead to reserve a table for the hibachi.
