Server nice. Sat down and asked about cocktails since I saw on IG, there was no bartender there today so no cocktails. House salad with the pear was so good. Lobster ravioli and spaghetti w/meatballs were good, although the menu says spaghetti came with bread and it didn’t come out with it, and we asked and were told no. $22 for spaghetti and meatballs is pushing it but portion was good.
We were strolling down the street and decided to drop in for lunch... Best decision! The service was fantastic, Miss Byrd was incredible. I had the pork loin autunno and it was delicious! The sauce was one of the best sauces I've ever tasted ?We are planning on coming back for happy hour.. so excited!!
We had the pollo marsala, lamb shank, pork loin, salmon, veal scaloppini and they were delicious! The lamb shank was tender and delicious! Cocktails were a little too sweet but has potential. Customer service is great here. Our waiter was down to earth and great. Definitely will come back here again.
Best Italian food in area hands down! My husband and I decided to go for dinner this Friday and it was our first time trying Ruffinos and we are already planning our next dinner back. We live in Fairfax city and are so happy to have a delicious Italian restaurant in town. We made it for happy hour which made it even better. $3 beers & wines and $5 apps. We got the mozzarella bites which were awesome and we got the chicken fettuccine and chicken parmigiana. Both absolutely delicious. The chicken parm isn’t on the menu but they will make it for you if you ask- better chicken parm than Dolce Vita’s in fairfax. They need to make it a permanent dish on the menu. And I hope they get pizza on the menu too! Definitely go try Ruffinos whenever you are in fairfax city. You will not be disappointed.
Had my first lunch today at Ruffino's in Fairfax City. Wow, this was amazing. There's plenty of free parking right around the corner. The food was wonderful but best of all was meeting the owner Mina Tawdaros and hearing his success story. I won't detail it here but it is amazing and real demonstration of the value of goal setting, working hard to learn the industry and then taking a risk to develop something the market will want.
This restaurant is EXCEPTIONAL! The food was outstanding and the presentation was truly elegant. The ambiance is delightful, with Sinatra crooning in the background. Service was excellent! I ordered the French toast on the Brunch Menu and it was the best I have ever tasted. What a GEM!
Exceptional service and a wonderful back-of-the-house. I would consider this a local staple with a steady flow of dinner orders all night long. Management strives to consistently serve their clientele and considers their role in the community with their fantastic customer service efforts. The bar seems well stocked with a solid wine selection. My favorite sparkling pellegrino water is ready to go.
In from out of town and found this place close by where we were. Cant express how happy we are that we came here. Food and service were amazing. Such a beautifully put together restaurant. Food came out fast and waiter was very courteous.
I recently visited Ruffino’s on Friday last week and it was enjoyable. The food was great I had Lamb shank and it was so tasty. Our waitress was excellent and friendly. The owner also came to our table and he was super friendly. I cannot wait to come back again ! This is a small restaurant but its big on customer service and food. 10/10
I highly recommend this Italian restaurant the food and drinks there was absolutely amazing and the place itself is very beautiful. I really loved the owners they were very sweet and welcoming. You will never regret going there ??❤️
