The Pho, vermicelli bowls, banh xeo, and fresh rolls are my favorite. Everything is always on point. Flavor and freshness of the ingredients.
One of the best Vietnamese restaurant in Fairfax.
Super good! I highly recommend the baby clam appetizer! It was so flavorful and fresh. It had a great crunch from the peanuts, carrots, and onions. The pho and vermicelli bowls were also amazing. I love love loved this place!
The food was decent. When we compare this place to our usual pho place which is only about a mile down the road, it doesn’t match up. Our other place was closed for the day and we decided to give this place a try. We called our order in and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. The portion sizes were good; however the flavor was a bit lacking. Inside, the place was clean. The staff was friendly enough. They charge 50 cents per container, apparently.
Some of the best Pho and Spring Rolls I’ve ever ordered. This is my go to spot! They are so generous with their portions and meat. The shrimp is large and fresh. I can count on the jalapeños and bean sprouts to be fresh. We always get delivery so have never been there, but delivery is dependable and wrapped neatly. Would have taken photo of Pho but already ate it ☺️ not best photo of Spring Rolls, but they are delish.Thank you Pho Doung for your superior service and dishes!
I had just left a funeral and this day it was so cold and windy that finding this place was a blessing. The soup was fresh, hot and just exactly what I needed to warm up my bones. Service was nice and quick.
Our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Extensive menu with color pictures of many of the entrees. A very plain decor but that's not a deterrent for going there. We both had hot pots. I had pork in a caramelized spicy broth. My wife had fish with the caramelized sauce. Both came with a large plate of rice and another with pickled radish, sliced carrots and tomatoes. We had asked for both hot pots to be very spicy and they were. They'res a variety of condiments on the table. We bring our own napkins because theirs are very small and thin. Prices are excellent
A Mixed Experience:This place has many positive aspects. Nice location. Nice interior. Very big menu. Very nice prices. It was my first time there and there and I ordered the large pho with everything in it. (What most places call a "P1" They call it something else.) First, the good stuff. Big portion. Lots of meat. Very tasty broth. Good add-ins. Just one bad point. There was some kind of chewy, sinewy, cartilaginous meat in there. (A lot of it.) That probably wasn't cooked enough. It was so chewy that I nearly choked on one piece. This was obviously an oversight on the kitchen's part and I plan to try the place again. If that was fixed, it would have been one of the better bowls of pho I've ever had.
I'm not sure how to rate today's service. There was only three tables at the time of service and we were the 2nd table. Half of our food came out and I notice all the food for last table's came out. When I asked the server he said our is coming but more shocking was the lady who was before us didn't even got her food. I have compiled about this and the server said "Is there a problem?" This was my first time and will be the last.
