i have been to this location twice now in the last few months. both times i ordered a polynesian poke bowl and both times the tuna was brown. i go to the sterling pei wei nearly once a week and order the same thing (a polynesian poke bowl) and the tuna is alway pink, as it should be.the same lady tells me that it's the sauce they put on the tuna, but either the sterling location doesn't do that or fairfax is serving old tuna. just drove 30 min to the sterling location to get my poke bowl. it was correct. i will stop going to the fairfax location.

I went to Pei Wei several years ago and was fairly impressed. No, it wasn't PF Changs, but then it was still pretty good and decently priced. Apparently the pandemic has taken its toll. Service has dropped off. Food quality is no where near where it was. Cleanliness is abysmal. So sad.
It’s just not that good. They market themselves as asian food which sorry but no. I could maybe let Asian-inspired go but the recipes just aren’t right.I tried the orange chicken and it was ok. It wasn’t so bad I threw it out. But it just was weird and not what orange chicken should be. And I feel like they reused a spoon or something because some of my chicken tasted like mongolian beef.If you like the flavors then it’s not bad. But it’s not what they claim and for what it is, I would rather have Panda Express any day.
My party enjoyed sharing a variety of dishes. The food and service were excellent, in line with our expectations for the brand.
Worst Asian meal I have had in 20 years. Ordered On-Line, Teriyaki Chicken and rice and sesame chicken and rice and Mongolian string beans. Arrived at curbside and followed instructions on a sign for pick up. Nobody ever came out. Finally went in and asked for my order. Someone pointed to a metal shelf. There was by bag. I guess on line instructions and signage at store means nothing. Drove home to eat meals with my wife. Meals were almost "dry" and completely tasteless. My teriyaki chicken tasted "nothing like teriyaki and was horrible. Same complaint with sesame. chicken. We threw out both meals and had scrambled eggs and toast. Will never go back.
No good vegetarian choice's. It's simple to take a few types of veggies, cook them up and serve with rice. You get 1 veggie with their meals if lucky, just meat and rice.
I have not been to a Pei Wei in years and I passed by this Fairfax Pei Wei and decided to stop and get the Mongolian Beef. It is even fresher and tastier than I remembered it - very refreshing. Will go back to try other dishes for sure now!
Welcome to fat fried Asian favor food filled you with greasy and sugary 1000 of Calories. That is acid reflux and made you fat.
Anyone who ate at the Pei Wei of 5 yrs ago would not recognize it now. The food was well priced, fresh, made to order and delicious. They had wonderful iced tea with fresh orange wedges. I have given Pei Wei several chances to change my mind. Today the food was mediocre at best, the meat overcooked and dry. The iced tea was heavily flavored with cinnamon. ??? I haven't had such a bad meal at a restaurant in years.
