I've been ordering from this location for 6+ years, a few times a year, but tonight was the last.They have always had middling quality, but they have no switched to using DoorDash as their delivery method. This means that, as happened to me tonight, you could get a very late delivery (mine arrived 30 minutes after the delivery rep picked it up from the location that’s less than 1.5 miles from my house) that is cold (the delivery agent didn’t use one of the pizza box containers to keep it warm). Aside from the fact that they charge $4.99 for delivery, on top of what you need to tip, you’ll get cold food, which isn’t viable. Why bother ordering cold pizza? Also, the wings I ordered had only one of the two dips that were supposed to come with a 16 wing order.Overall, just skip this place. Find a pizza place that actually cares to give you what you paid a premium price to get.
Unlike a lot of other pizza places they don't put cheese on the regular breadsticks which I really appreciate. The pizza is good, ordered some last week for the first time in years (we stopped ordering pizza but used to get it more frequently) and was not disappointed. The garlic sauce is good as well.
I ordered a delivery on 1/17 and after calling and being told the person was coming. I called several more times to finally say I would drive over to get a new one. I asked only for the delivery fee to be refunded. I was very understanding. But, The manager was not apologetic nor responsive in any way not even a thank you for driving myself. He said he would have to call Corporate for my delivery fee refund. I said why doesn’t he just give me $5 and forget about any change and keep the tip. He was unprofessional and really made me not ever want to order from that location. It is a take out only so be aware he was not wearing a mask at any time around food. It has been long enough for my refund, a free pizza, a call - something. I guess they do not care to keep customers.
Nobody wearing a mask at this facility! It’s pandemic time! I don’t want somebody breathing on top of my food especially during this pandemic time!
Ordered pizza at 5:08pm with an estimated delivery time of 35-45 minutes. It’s now 6:30 and the food still isn’t here. Called the store and they weren’t helpful
Wow! Never have received a hand written note with our pizza before! What a nice gesture from the manager. Delivery was a bit problematic but we enjoyed our pizza in the end. Well done Papa John's!
Unlike before, the taste varies a lot. And I doubt the cleanliness of the cook and his work area. It is salty and less fillings.
Wait time said approx 44 min and I waited for an hour and 30 min before I decided to cancel my order as it was out for delivery for over 20 min. They were short on drivers tonight, which I completely understand esp. during the current labor shortage. However, update your estimated wait time to reflect that. Waiting more than double the estimated time is unacceptable. Very misleading and disappointing.
They're always quick and the foods great! Never had an issue at this location.
I have not ordered here yet, but upon reviewing all of the customer complaints and reviews, this place will not get my business. Get it together, people. You work in food service- this means you MUST adhere to sanitary guidelines. You are messing with other people's health when you do not wash your hands after you touch things. I'm very disappointed in the Stagg. The upper managent needs to get involved and make changes! Ridiculous.
