One of my favorite places to get sushi in Fairfax. Their portions are good and the food is always delicious. It's never too busy when we go so I'm always able to get seated immediately.
Food very good for a good price. Staff was very friendly and attentive.I used to like frequent another local Japanese restaurant that unfortunately didn't reopen after the covid shutdown....You have filled the missing hole. I'll be back. Hontoni Arigato Gozaimasu!
This is one of the best sushi places that my family and I have been to. Love all the special rolls! Still love going here!
Hidden gem!Great selection of food and beverage. Plenty vegetarian options. I loved the veggie tempura roll and veggie ramen. Staff is super nice and attentive.
We've eaten here many times and never expected to like this place so much considering the location. We've tried a lot of dishes here and have liked all of them. Their sushi is fresh and flavorful, and we can't say enough about the black cod miso dish. That dish is 5☆. The only reason I'm not giving them 5☆ overall is just the slowness to take your order and bring the food out. They are generally swamped so I understand, but they could probably use a few more workers to handle the heavy crowds and to-go orders. We'll keep coming back!
Thank you for a wonderful evening of sushi out with my family. Great food and great friendly people work here. I wish we'd found Murasaki sooner and not wasted time with other sushi restaurants with terribly rude servers(ahem, arigato, ahem). We will be sure to eat here regularly.
Sushi was really tasty and fresh. We tried 6 different rolls and loved them all. Miso ramen was good but could have been more flavorful. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be going back.
This place is by far my favorite sushi place! It’s absolutely delicious and no like the other. I usually get takeout for the Philadelphia Sushi Roll and Chicken Noodles and it’s always delicious. Definitely a recommend if you want to try a good sushi.
The sake salmon was perfect. The squeezed lemon made the sushi fantastic. Everything is so fresh. The atmosphere was calming and comfortable!! Really enjoyed the Slovenian red wine and my friend loved the sparkly sweet (peach) JPop cocktail.
