A great place to dine with friendly service! The food here is really delicious, flavorful, and really unique. We ordered the korma chop, Uyghur manta, Mim’s burger (beef), beef & tripe in spicy sauce, and cold skin noodles. Every dish was satisfying in its own way. The korma chop was my favorite due to its unique noodle texture since it is hand-pulled with a traditional Uyghur technique. Mim’s burger was really balanced in its ratio of meat to bread. The price of the food was a little high to me for some items, particularly the Uyghur Manta and Beef & Tripe in spicy sauce. For everything else, it feels a hair too expensive for the volume so I wouldn’t come back often. However, my overall experience was good and I’ll definitely be coming back here to try more.
Free parkingSmall place came on a Saturday night only us.Ordered cold noodle wish it has more cucumber slices and some nuts topping. Overall it is ok.Pearl noodle has very little meat but for the price I guess it is normal?Water comes with a bottle which is a plus.Lamb skewer is also ok, wish it had more fats it is very lean.Overall ok place for a casual meal.
So yummy! Restaurant was willing to provide vegan solutions and everything was so tasty & delightful. The service was fast, friendly and accommodating :)
These noodles are some of the most authentic Uyghur noodle dishes I’ve had outside of going to the source. The texture, taste, and portions are all excellent; highly recommend asking them to make it spicy/sour per your taste.Chewy noodles, delicious!
Delicious, authentic Uyghur food. The staff were super friendly, too. I'll be back!
Very impressed with the food. As someone else stated, this place is unassuming and is pretty bare bones. The food, however, was so flavorful and delicious. I had the Korma Beef Noodles and a couple lamb kebabs. Lamb was cooked perfectly and the noodles were hand-pulled and flavor on point. Prices are mid teens for most entrees, but do give consideration they’re serving halal and that’s helping drive the price. I’ll be back here. Love these random finds ??
Buy a cold noodle for 1$10 The amount is really pitiful. The taste is good but you are really sorry for the price.
This place is bare-bones, with a non-descript decor. You order at the counter, your meal is brought out to you by the cashier, and then you're pretty much on your own. The prices are from the mid-to-upper teens, which is understandable, because the protein ingredients are halal, which are more expensive. So what keeps me coming back? The delicious food! There are all kinds of variations, from noodles to soups. The food is spicy, so be warned. Most of the dishes are made with beef, but there are a few chicken dishes. The place is quiet, so if you want to hangout with your laptop during your meal, it's ideal for that.If you want to try something different, Uyghur cuisine, this is the place you'll want to go to in Fairfax City.
Even I heard Mom’s Food was open last year, hadn’t have any chance to visit. The owners put great work build such a unique restaurant with fantastic taste dishes and Noodles .Recommend to all. Please everyone give it a try .Thanks for reading my experience..Yawaat
Your food is so delicious. We just happened to be in the area, but we will be back exclusively for the food. Cold skin noodles! I drank the leftover over sauce.
