I’d put Meega in the “hidden gem” category for several reasons. They are clean and the cook is decent. They also sell large containers of kimchi. It’s better than Hmart kimchi imo. The stews and soups are a hit or miss though. Spicy beef soup is excellent.

I had such a great experience here. Food was fresh and delicious. It was authentic Korean food. Also, servers were kind. My friend loved it as well. I’m glad I brought him to this restaurant. He said it was one of the best Korean restaurants he’s been to.

Professional and family oriented. The food is incredibly delicious! I recommend this place to all that love authentic Korean BBQ.

Korean population is declining in US. No Korean restaurant is thriving. Adding insult to injury, the pandemics has kept them at bay. I ordered a bottle of Makuly with a plate of Kimchee Jeon, for I suddenly became nostalgic. What I remember about the drink is that it should be consumed with a meager amount of food. You don't want your stomach filled up with fatty meals or carbohydrates. Paucity is the approach to the drink as if you were a poor peasant. Then you know the taste.

I haven't been to Meega for at least a couple years, pre-COVID. Brought a friend to try the traditional bulgogi, which can't be found anywhere else in nova. Unfortunately our experience was disappointing. First off, the BBQ prices across the board are exceedingly overpriced. There are way too many KBBQ restaurants in nova to be priced this high ($22 pork belly, $38 galbi). Second, regardless how many orders you choose, they are not cooking in front of you - only if you order 2+ orders of the $38 galbi. This really defeated the purpose of the traditional Bulgogi. The kitchen cooked one just wasn't the same experience. It's a shame because the bulgogi taste is just as good as I remember from years back. We also ordered a galbi tang, in which most of the meat had been stripped off so it was really just bone. Not sure if all these changes are due to COVID, but other restaurants have not changed their offerings while raising prices - it's stingy and takes away from the food. Needless to say, we won't be coming back unless service goes back to the way it previously was.

I dine in this nice place quite a bit! This is my favorite spot to dine. I go to this spot regularly. The food is great, the team is welcoming and the price is good. I enjoy eating in this spot to have a nice supper.

Good Part - no wait, quickly seated. Food was okay like the pork belly, sides. Food was also cold. Bulgogi was excellent. Nice atmosphere, decor. Super clean. Seated apart from others so nicely social distanced.Bad Part - food at other Korean in Centreville better from the sides to everything ordered was excellent while here it was hit and miss.

Would surely recommend trying this place. Fantastic atmosphere, delightful food, great service. Great work.

I’ve never had a smaller portion of Korean food for take out I literally feel ripped off... Never again

Best bulgogi I’ve had in my entire life ? Marvelous $12 lunch box.
