Picked up chicken65. Test was awful and there was no curry leaves and chicken were old. I will never ever go back again.

I have gone here numerous times and gotten the correct Thai Dynamite.... today they gave me the masala wok spicy instead and because the chef says that's their Thai Dynamite which it isnt.... they wouldn't give me the correct food and even acted like I was wrong. They cannot follow their own menu and its pathetic. NEVER GOING BACK THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE

First time ordering from Masala Wok and was a little disappointed. I ordered the Biryani 65, Garlic Naan, Ras Malai, Gulub jamun, and raita. The biryani was absolutely disappointing; it tasted like regular fried rice with pieces of spicy tandoor chicken on top. The garlic naan was tough to chew. The ras malai don't even get me started on that. I was expecting the ras malai with white cream not the rasa malei with the yellowish cream. The only reason I'm give one star is because the delivery guy (Kiarash) was nice.

2nd time at Masala Wok, they nailed it both times. Had the Southern Curry and the Goan Vindaloo. This place has amazing flavor and will have you coming back. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

TLDR: this location has taken a nosedive in terms of quality of food and I would not recommend visiting here.My family and I have been frequenting Masala Wok at Fairfax ever since it opened. During the early days the food was amazing, and the price matched the portion size, which was sufficient. Extras included hot pickles, free lemon water, etc.In recent days, the food has no flavor, the quantity has decreased, and the price increased, the soda machine is gone, and no condiments are available. In my most recent visit I got a chicken 65 meal, which I used to absolutely love from this place. What I got was red-colored chicken without any spices or flavor. It didn’t even have any curry leaves! It was a travesty.Waste of time, money, and calories. Will not be visiting this location again.

Dined in today at masala wok fairfax. Dishes ordered along with individual ratings are as underMasala wok spicy - 2stars ( too much spicy and tasteless)Chicken tikka kabob - 4 stars (kabobs are good)Hakka noodles - 4 stars. (Different and good)Samosa chat - 2stars (too much chick peas and smosa too small in size)Chicken kadai biryani - 4 stars (taste good but not excellent)Staff - 4 starsEnvironment- 4 starsServing sizes medium to ok. Overall taste three stars.

Too much colour in food.chicken is not properly cut and cooked.

I ordered Biryani 65 with paneer. The presentation was brilliant whereas it is the worst biryani I ever had in my life. They give you curry sauce and raita with rice sautéd in onions. No flavors, no fragrance of the spices and where is the saalan?

I'm surprised to see so many bad reviews about the taste of the food, but I did order something pretty simple at a fusion place. I ordered southern curry with the lamb. Had the naan and a lychee juice drink. The food tasted great. Was it the most amazing Indian food I've had? No. I'll save that rating for a friend's mom.It took longer than projected, and it was a little on the expensive side for a one person lunch at $18, but I definitely got 2 servings out of it, and I have no other complaints about the quality of what I ordered.

We were regular customers before pandamic. Now things are changed. Poor customer service and average food. Manchow soup was good though. Food was served in all disposable containers and so was the cutlery. We even had to buy water. Staff is not very friendly. Overall not a very good experience.
