I was at Haley's laundromat and I saw this place called Mary's restaurant right next to the laundromat so I gave it a try. I ordered the steak and cheese with fries and I added a side of the chicken tamale. I also added a couple pepsis. The food was excellent. The chicken tamale was made with a chicken wing and he left the bone in to add more flavor. The tamale was very moist and very delicious just a tad of spice but very tasty. The Steak and Cheese Sandwich was really good too. The sandwich had a toasted sub roll with steak cheese lettuce tomato and light mayonnaise perfectly made and that was a companied by crispy fries. Overall the meal was excellent. As I was waiting for my laundry to complete next door I was able to have a good meal at Mary's restaurant located at Fairfax circle next to Citco.
Their take too long for make a order , I wait 1 hour for it
It is the best Hispanic Food EVER I love everything of this place such as pupusas, pollo ala brasa, baleadas, carne asada, ETC. I highly recommend this amazing Restaurant.
All I can say is yum!!! The Tacos Dorados were so crispy, with a delicious chicken filling. The pupusas locas, to die for! The Carne asada was so flavorful and juicy.. My only complaint was the wait, but there was 18 of us, so I can't say it was their fault.
Love eating here but today I was so disappointed on the customer service.. lady's on the back don't care if they see me standing there ready to order .. they also take years to make your food ok just blown I didn't get my money worth :( used to love this place
The place is run down but the food is delicious. Wait time for the food can be long as they seem to cater to take out orders and leave dining room guests waiting. The beef soup (sopa de res) is delicious. Their steak (carne asada) also good. Yuca fries, plantain, and cheese pupusa are great choices here. We also like the fried pork (chicharones) and limo saltada.

This is a typical Peruvian chicken place where you can get fast and tasty food. If you are on a budget definitely this is the place that you want to go to you can actually have great food and have a taste of Latin American food including that in American drinks. You can really enjoy it and you will not regret it it's a really good thing for you to have especially if you like chicken or like me if you love fried yuca
