Changed their recipe ? My family has been going to Lost Dog since 2007. It’s our favorite place for pizza in Nova! The past few months we have picked up our regular cheese from their Merrifield location. It’s like eating a completely different pizza! It’s very sad! The dough and crust is entirely different. Unfortunately, it’s not a change for the better but for the worse, the crust is so dry and bland it’s not even worth eating. Truly hope they adjust whatever they have changed. Will update my review if they do.
Great options + super friendly staff.Spinach, crab, and cheese dip was exactly how we wanted it to taste. Highly recommend!Pizza and sandwiches have always been consistently good. If you want to get a custom pizza, recommend finding one of the many special pizzas that is close and doing substitutions.Blonde was great! Wasn't in the mood to get it "a la mode", but still melty chocolate chunks and super tasty.
We went here on a Friday night. We had errands to run first so it was after 8:30 when we arrived. There were few people there but my daughter still had to flag a server after waiting several minutes just to get a menu. We were finally able to place our order for an appetizer and meals. Then we waited. And waited. If it had been a busy time, it would be understandable but as I said, there was almost no one there. We finally got our appetizer--with the meal! Kinda defeated the purpose of the appetizer. The food was good when we got it, but the service- meh.
Stop in today for a late lunch. Got the Carolina something. Can’t remember the whole name. Tasted great!! Had a beer on the side. Again don’t remember the name but it was delicious. Both hit the spot!!
Great stop before heading home. The chicken corn chowder was amazing with big hunks of chicken! The chili was also delicious. Personal pizzas were a perfect size and tasted great. They had so many options for sandwiches and pizza. Glad we chose this pit stop!

Make the best food for the best possible cause! They offer delivery that helps with cutting out the big boys like Uber and charging so so much less and actual accountability Ben is very knowledgeable and so is everyone I've had the chance to encounter. Everyone in there is happy to be there. Lost dog cafe is a community. They include lost dog rescue and are non-profit, as you can see with the cute dog names on all of the food. I'm so lucky to have one close to me
Great staff! If you go early, before 6, it's pretty empty. Huge variety of sandwiches and pizzas. Flavor is good. Appetisers are ok. Good beer/drink selection.
Delicious food. They have a wide range of drinks and food options and they all sound amazing. Great location too very close to the mosaic district
This place is awesome, great beer, great food, and great service. John is the best bartender in the Merrifield area, and Karen is a little better than John, Mike is great too. Also Ren is a good server if you’re going table service. Point is, its a great spot, and I love the community they created here. GO HERE.
