Nice place, it seems that Aldi is cheaper on comparable items. My wife visited here today and they didn't have any of the advertised plums. Other than that, she was pleased with the visit.
I do not understand the fascination with this place. They sell brands that you never heard of at loe prices. That normally screams danger but people love Lidi. I can't in good conscience leave a review when I did not purchase anything. I will leave a star based review the next time. I purchase an item from lidi....
Interesting shopping experience. Some US name brands but mostly Lidle and off brand. Some items much cheaper than local US chains. Some much more expensive. A lot of non-food merch. Check out credit card system was down.
The second time I felt uncomfortable going there. The lady there is so rude, I asked for stevia and she asked me what!? What is that!? I told her; the sweetener is like splenda...We don't sell that! Go and check where the sugar is.This time I said; I'm sorry LIDLE I didn't come here for this. I left all the groceries and went to Walmart. Very sad because they have good items, I'll try next year.
Food and pricing was great. However it is heavily overshadowed by rude employees and cashiers. I was patiently waiting in a long line until another cashier lane opened up. I made my way over to the newly opened register. Upon greeting the cashier, I asked if the lane was open to make sure that I don't cut anyone in line. The cashier with dreads fired back with a rude question stating, "do you not see the light of this lane turning green? That means I'm open".I get it. The cashier is stressed and probably overworked. However, a simple yes or nod of the head would have suffice. Kindness does not cost anything in this situation. But it seems kindness has a price at Lidl.
THIS Lidl on route 50 has wide aisles and nice salesclerks. Fruit and vegetables look fresh ! The store was very clean and the toilet! The staff was so helpful!! Lol???? I even got carded omg that was wonderful it make my year !!! I love this store!! It take us 40 minutes to get there but it worth the drive!
bitter cucumbers, bought 2 packs because they were on sale!!. moldy blueberries and more expensive than Walmart next door, good looking eggplants/terrible inside!! will be going back to Safeway
Ok so at first I didn't care for this store and can't recall why but I needed to stop in quickly for a few items, and found it to be a good experience. The selections are decent, but what did it for me was the great energy from the staff. If the customer service I'd good then I'm going to come back.
I can't really say anything bad about Lidl in general...we've been to a few different locations and we (my family and I) are quite happy with the products, availability and the prices! Unfortunately, when I visited the Lidl at the Fairfax Centre on Lee HWY today and saw something that I thought I should post. It's the only place located in the store. Above all the fresh produce. ??? Not sure if I'll be returning to this location. They need to do some major cleaning! 5 stars on the shopping experience. 3 stars towards whatever that was that I saw on the ceiling. ?
Good place to shop and get groceries. Very clean and staff is always polite. Usually only one cashier is open though.
