I really like the smoothie and the toast I got but both smoothie and toast were good but not gonna lie they are both over priced. Overall, customer service was good. Clean place. I would recommend if you like smoothie or acai.
If you ever have to choose between getting forcibly deployed to Iraq OR facing this RUDE lady with such terrible attitude, serving you a baby portion size (seriously!) frozen acai, choose the Iraq deployment!This place is not good by any means. Waste of money, waste of nerves, even waste of calories to enter the place.
Definitely appreciate places like this that promote a healthy lifestyle. I felt the overall taste and presentation lacked just slightly. Can't place my finger on it, maybe the fruit wasn't as fresh. But overall good service.
Excellent flavor and options, I had the same in Puerto Rico, the only difference is that the portions were slightly larger! Keep up the quality of the food.
The bowls are SUPER small but is market as “regular” size. The açaí base is pretty diluted in banana, I assume to reduce the cost of açaí berry. I also observed how they served and they fill less than half of the bowl with base açaí , leaving the top slightly empty. I ordered Nutella dressing and barely got 2 lines of it. If it’s not enough with how cheap they serve, they charged me almost $12 lol.Please go to Playa Bowl restaurant, their açaí are almost same price and A LOTT bigger and ingredients aren’t diluted.This place is not worth it , which is why is almost empty.??
Terrible customer service from manager requel. I went to get a bowl and smoothie and one of their combos said pick 2. I wanted a smoothie and bowl. Lady says you can’t do that. The menu clearly says pick 2. It you can’t pick 2 don’t name it that! On top of that the lady had a very condescending attitude.
Good food, but Raquel needs to work on her attitude.Every time I walk in I feel discriminated. something needs to change !!
Overpriced for the size of the bowls.
My daughter, who is only 16 years old, went to Frutta Bowls in Fair Oaks Mall for a job interview and the manager gestured to her head and asked, "So do you have to wear that thing when you're working?" referring to her hijab (Muslim woman's headdress that she wears voluntarily). At the end of the interview she asked her if she was born here, presumably meaning in the U.S. The tragic part is that this woman had a heavy accent and my daughter, also a daughter of the American Revolution, none. She told her she'd have to "think about" whether or not to hire her. I'm not a lawyer, but this seemed like clear discrimination based on both racial and religious grounds. I've chosen to report the incident to civil rights groups.
I have an allergy to bananas so I ordered a bowl without bananas as a topping. Before actually paying, I had ask her if there were any bananas in the bowl just in case the base had bananas, and she had said no. When I ate the bowl, it tasted like bananas and so I looked it up and there were bananas in the base. Never ordering here again!
