Happened to be here while we were on our Virginia trip in March 2022. I am glad that my brother took me here for breakfast. The place is small and right on the corner of the street. Found parking next to it as it was weekend.The food was super tasty. The breakfast sandwiches, bagels, coffee, muffin and a few more items we all tried and everything was prepared very well, authentic and fresh.I would love to visit again when I happen to be in this area again.
This place is pretty good but slightly off in terms of barista-ing. Last time I got a plain iced latte it wasn’t mixed. They said to stir it with my flimsy plastic straw. It was also way too much milk for the size, it was already light and then I mixed it and it just tasted like milk, I think they missed an espresso shot. I could have gone back but I didn’t want to wait in line. Sammies are good, nothing mind blowing, but my husband got sick after one within the last 6 mos so we haven’t ordered food again. I wish they would bring back the quiche.
Just needed a quick breakfast to go and had a recommendation to try this spot; did not disappoint! Two excellent sandwiches, perfectly fluffy eggs, everything tasted super fresh, plus the coffee was on point. The London Fog was sweeter than expected but that's on me for picking a dessert for breakfast. Quality ingredients hit different, half a sandwich each kept us full for a couple of hours walking around, and the rest helped tide us over until we found a spot for lunch. Thanks for the grub, we'll be back!
Nice small cafe along the streetside. There is parking lots close by though and I had no trouble finding one nearby. Seemed to be pretty busy and many people seem to come here to work on things with their laptops out and eat. I got the Spicy swine and Jack of All Trades. I liked how the spicy swine and a bit of a kick of spice to it and the pita bread was really soft! I also got the matcha blossom speciality drink and thought it was a perfect sweetness, not too sweet. I recommend coming here for a quick bite! They also come to your table to drop off the food for dine in.
Best Cafe in NoVa! Everything you order is fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The wrapping paper they use is a fun, unique touch. So far I’ve had the veggie one-eyed jack with bacon, the caprese sandwich (mind blowing good), the salted caramel gelatoccino, and French press. The space itself is full of various seating arrangements, two Wi-Fi options, and quiet enough to host conference calls. If I lived within walking distance, I’d come every day. Hats off to the owners, managers, and staff for creating a beautiful cafe to spice up the WFH life.
We come here often; it’s our favorite coffee place. Everyone here is always nice. Their coffee, special lattes, and baristas are really great. And they’re quick even when the place is really busy. Thanks.
Nice ambiance and vibes. However, the cappuccino was one fo the worst I had. Bland, no kick to it although it must have been the most expensive cappuccino I ever paid for. Scone and tuna salad sandwich were good, no complaints. If a coffee shop doesn’t have good coffee, though, everything else is secondary for me.
Haven't had their sandwiches since the pandemic and they were just as good as I remember! The spicy swine was a filling sandwich that can be switched with a bagel (which was so soft and the perfect size). Their tomato basil soup is so flavorful and the perfect side dish to a sandwich. The staff are attentive and kind and quick! Great staple of down town Fairfax.
Questionable experience. The women that checked me out didnt know anything about coffee to explain to me the difference of what they offer. I also ordered a pecan roll in which the way offered to heat it up. It was not warmed and eating required me to have coffee because it was so dry. The aesthetic is nice but not worth it.
I found de clieu coffee & sandwich on my way to the dorms at George Mason University. It's coffee always hits the spot and the staff are so welcoming! I spend my time studying here at least twice a week....you can't go wrong with anything on the menu！C'est vraiment bonne!!
