We go here several times a month.Staff at "winners circle" and in game area is always very good.Staff at dining area is terrible. We've stopped eating at Dave and Buster's because we can eat beforehand at Lazy Dog (next door), pay the same amount, and get better food and much better service. Dining staff is extremely inattentive and is usually more busy playing around on their phone instead of helping people. I don't actually mind ordering on the phone, but I shouldn't have to flag someone down to get a refill. And even when we do flag them down, they say they'll bring it and never show up. Highly recommend eating somewhere else before coming here. Also not happy about how they removed the plastic coins from the Star Trek coin pusher. It removed the fun from that game. And it seems they got rid of the zombie snatchers as well, and that was one of our other favorite games.
Great service and menu recommendations, the nachos though—yum! I didn’t care for the flatbread pepperoni pizza too much. It wasn’t bad it just wasn’t my preference. The kids loved the variety of games and took forever to pick a prize. We went on a Wednesday around 5 which is half price games. It wasn’t too crowded. I’d definitely take the family to this location again.
The place doesn't take reservations or even care for notice that a large group is coming in unless your rent their corporate room for a buffet. So, when our group of ~25 started to trickle in we planned to gather around the large booths and bar area to allow people access to food, drink and games. Upon realizing this, the server asked us to relocate to the dining room, so some did. Then another person asked us to relocate to a table near the pool tables. Of course it's all a mess because they wouldn't allow themselves to be prepared for a large group. Eventually, we just did our own thing and made it work but there was really no help from anyone and they just kept trying to move our group around. The wait staff was friendly but most seemed like they just started. Mixed drinks were sent back, we had to randomly ask waitstaff for food because we didn't have a dedicated server, and someone said we could only order food through the mobile app. You'd think for a family-friendly environment that large and with this kind of entertainment they could manage a group party. Sadly, management couldn't have cared less and blamed us for not knowing the exact number of people and us telling them 20-25 people was not precise enough for them. He also made remarks that we shouldn't bring this many people to their establishment on a Saturday night and expect anything better...it was 430 and again, they didn't take reservations when we called weeks in advance and told us we didn't need to notify them. Management never even approached us, we had to approach them. Before doing so, they kept sending a server to us. At one point the server said something like "I don't know why and I can't help you, I'm just the messenger"...the person/management with the message wouldn't handle it themselves. The manager was unfriendly, rude, and unhelpful - he is the reason our next event of 30 people won't be spending money in their establishment.
SUPER FUN!!!Dave and Busters is the adult arcade I always dreamed of. You can come here with your significant other or your family and you're bound to have a blast!! I'd definitely recommend coming here on Wednesday when games are half off and drinks are half off during happy hours (4-7).
Food’s gotten a lot better since pre-pandemic. The new menu is pretty good. We used our game tickets for the pretzel dogs (really good) & a burger. We also got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch fried ice cream - super yummy.
Dave & Busters was awesome, this was my first time and the staff was incredibly patient. The bar charges $3+ for a Coke, and $15+ for a Long Island. While both drinks were good, this is pricey considering the area. However, $100 for game tokens will last 2-3 people around 3-4hours which is great because this location offers a giant selection of games.
Delicious drinks! My favorite one is the Strawberry Watermelon Frosé! Dave and Busters is definitely a place to come on Wednesdays, You get half price games/drinks??
This Dave and Busters is cleaner than most. 98% of the games worked and we had a really good time.We ordered food which was good but the plates and glasses were all dirty. Otherwise it was a fun family day.
We attended Breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Started off kinda rough but over all the Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt was so much fun, my little had a blast. Afterwards, playing the games was fun as we purchased a game card with Breakfast. The Manager, host and staff were very accommodating. Hope to see you next year, thanks Dulles Mom for advertising this event!!!
The management (Jeff) was amazing and helpful. The bartenders were super attentive. Everyone of them checked on us. Great environment.
