Muy buena atención y comida
The food is fabulous the staff is fabulous it’s fabulous
I visited at least 7 chuy's locations. But this was the worst experiences I had. I understand that because of the holiday they were short stuffed, but I had to inform them at least 4 times after patiently waiting for 20-25 minutes that we are yet to waiting for a server to take our order. Then finally someone came with chips and salsa. Then waiting for another good 10-15 minutes finally bar tender showed up to take the order. They did not provide napkins and silverware. So even after food arrived we were waiting for fork and knife. Terrible experience. I will never go back to this location. I was so mad that I did not want to tip them. But felt bad and did give tip, after-all its not their fault that they are short stuffed. But the management should be held responsible.
I'm not the biggest fan of Chuys but my family seems to really enjoy it. I'll write this based my experience. The food is basic and the ambiance is loud. The booth we were in was broken. We had ants crawl on the table twice but nothing terrible. The redeeming factor were the drinks. We ordered some margaritas and they were honestly delicious. The folks working there are all nice and attentive.
We had lunch here today. Portions were large and moderately priced.
Went for the first time a couple weeks ago, and can say it’s probably one of the best Tex Mex chains in the area. The chips are classic cantina chips and they’re brought to the table warm. The service is great too, anytime we ran out of chips, they were already geared up for refilling the baskets. They also brought multiple baskets for multiple people, I know that’s small, but it drives me crazy when you go to a restaurant and they bring out one basket for six people, that’s not an issue here. They also brought out multiple styles of salsa and dips for the chips. Their salsa is fresh and has a kick to it, but the white sauce for the chips is pretty damn good too, we couldn’t stop.As for the entrees, pay close attention to the menu because you can pick one of their many sauces. I made the mistake of going hatch green Chile sauce in place of the tomatillo sauce. While my mouth and entire being was on fire, the flavor was absolutely awesome. Can’t wait to go back and get the steak burrito and try one of the other sauces.
My bf and I go here all the time. You MUST try their Hatch Chile sauce. I dip the chips in it. I slather it on my rice and tacos. It’s so good. I’m addicted to it.Always have a great server, food is delicious, everything is affordable, and the leftovers eaten the next day are heavenly.I wish Chuy’s was everywhere.
So glad there is a Chuy's in VA- reminds me of home (Texas). If you've never tried it, the creamy jalapeno dip is *chef's kiss*. I always order enchiladas and these chicken ones didn't disappoint.
Great service, reasonable prices and a nice selection of drinks. Really like the King's punch there. The food is mediocre but the price is reasonable enough that it doesn't matter. It's also a great place on weekends as it's not overly crowded.
I gave 2 stars solely because the manager ended up being awesome & understanding. Went here for a birthday lunch with my husband & wowwww. Stephani, our "server", was absolutely awful. Awful, awful, awful. She clearly had an internal issue with people because she was only nice to ONE table in her section of 5 tables. We sat down & watched as she walked past ALL of her tables to focus on one single woman who was clearly about to tip her little to nothing for her salad & water. She walked past us so many times without even a simple "Hi, be right with you!" that her manager had to come serve us. She took our drink order, brought the food, brought plates/napkins/silverware, basically did everything Stephani should have been doing. We had to keep getting up to ask for stuff because Stephani wouldn't acknowledge us. It was my husband birthday so you can only imagine how angry I was at how she was treating us. The lady she focused on tipped her less than $3 while the other tables who ordered drinks, apps & food tipped way more. Poor thing was so rude, I ended up tipping her WAY more than she deserved & let her manager know she was terrible. I was a server for years in the past & actually worked at the Chili's that used to be located here so I know she could have at least pretended to do better. Not sure why she was so rude to those of us who were nice to her ? We didnt end up finishing our food because it tasted like it was all frozen food that was just microwaved. The drinks were great though. Take the trip to the Austin, TX location, wayyyy better.
