DO NOT GO THERE, PLEASE READ BELOW!!!Ordered food and employee said I can’t eat inside , otherwise it will charge 18% additional, but sign says 18% additional on 6 people or more (picture added) not coming back and not recommended, this is not how you do business, not allowing customers eating inside!!! Literally inside was sitting 2 people, lots of empty tables, I don’t understand Why?Young man (he’s big liar as well) who was working there today, unprofessional and need to be learn how to provide service! I came there to eat and got kicked outside for no reason (outside was over 100 degrees hot and humid)Paid for chicken wings almost $16 (side order additional) got no sauce, no napkins and chicken was tasteless.
Very good lunch options. The service was great, the place very clean, and ultimately you can see the pride in it.I enjoyed the fried chicken, but the spicy/sweet was a tad sweet for my liking.
I enjoyed the snow sauce onions more than the chicken itself. I'm planning to try to recreate their sweet onion slaw.We had pickled radishes, fish and chips, sweet potato fries, and snow onion chicken. My kids liked the fish and french fries, and all the food was good.
I love this place at Lorton location. I came across this location yesterday when I was in Fairfax, so I gave it a try. The server was very rude to us. She copped an attitude for who knows what reason. I didn't look at my receipt until I got home today. You charged an extra $2 for what flavor that goes with the chicken. Are you kidding me? What is Snow onion on top of my Snow onion chicken order? Also, I had to take the fries back because it smelled bad and cold and oily. The fries was $7. I didn't care to get my money back for the fries, but come on, do better. Got home, my drumsticks weren't even cooked all the way, they were still red from the inside. I'm so disappointed.
Always love going to Choong Man Chicken! It's the best Korean fried chicken place in the area. My go-tos are Curry (has a slight kick) and Garlic Spicy (name speaks for itself) but I have also have tried the Snow Onions Chicken and the Monster Cheese Fries (so delicious!!) I enjoy this place because the wings and tenders are big, and there is plenty of sauce so it doesn't taste dry, but the wings are still crunchy even with the sauce (but you have to act fast or else they will get soggy later on). They have a pretty good lunch special which I will occasionally get as well.
Our favorite chicken place. We love the garlic soy chicken tenders and the cheese monster. It is crispy and flavorful. I highly recommend! Their pickled radish is so delicious:)
Probably my favorite Korean fried chicken place in this area. I have been to the Centreville location as well (just as great) but I'll write my review for the Fairfax location as I have eaten here more. At my most recent visit, it was a group of four that came and we were all very hungry. We ordered two whole chickens, one garlic soy and one snow onion. We also ordered some fries and onion rings as sides. The chicken is delicious. The garlic soy surprisingly has a bit of a kick in terms of the spice, but in terms of the flavor it is great. The snow onion is a must get if you come here, as I noticed not all Korean chicken places in this area have this on their menu. The snow onion is a mayonnaise based sauce that pairs well with the sweet onion. If there's one thing I would change next time I come back, is to ask for the snow onion sauce on the side. The reason I would ask this is because the chicken will get a little bit soggy when it's sitting in the sauce. But even though it gets a little bit soggy it's still amazing. For the sides (didn't get a picture), I would say the onion rings are very good here. So the four of us had two whole chickens and two sides, and were barely able to finish it. We were stuffed at the end but very satisfiedSo yes I would highly recommend this place who is craving some Korean friend chicken. The staff is super friendly, and the food is amazing
We got the Garlic Soy and Snowed Garlic Spicy chicken along with sides of fries. Both super tasty, flavorful and fresh with lots of crunchy texture from the breading. Highly recommend this pairing of the two types of chicken too as it was a nice contrast. Fries were okay, but then again that's not the star of the show here.
For chicken lovers this place is a must to try. You can find chicken with different flavors. Their fish and chips set is really delicious.
