Everything was absolutely amazing! My family and I have been coming here for 20+ years and it just keeps getting better and better :)
I've been here a hundred times probably over the years and I recommend only from the Chinese menu if you are looking for spicy. Specifically, I like: fu qi fei pian, liang fen, guo tie, and gong bao ji ding.
Love the food especially crispy beef and the crab Rangoon. My favorite place to order Chinese food! The owners are really nice and the food is always ready on time of pickup
Today I tried the Traditional Kung Pao, a rather old Sichuan dish, and I was really impressed at the many layers of flavors. My apologies for not including a picture but I will amend that on my next visit. The staff is wonderful (谢谢你 Li) and the atmosphere is quite comfortable and inviting. Plenty of parking and handicapped accessible.
Delicious, authentic Chinese food. Sichuan and Fujian specialties can be found here like 夫妻肺片,干煸四季豆,河粉.Very friendly staff and quick service. The room is spacious for large groups. They also took COVID safety measures seriously so that's a good sign for their hygiene too.
Ordered Doordash from China star this evening after a recommendation from my girlfriend. We got egg rolls, scallion pancakes, and I got the szechuan chicken off the specialty menu. To their credit, I requested extra hot mustards in the notes and was given some. Additionally, the egg rolls were crispy, fresh, and flavorful. That's where the positives end. Given that there's no pictures on doordash and every Chinese dish I've eaten my whole life is wet either via sauce or broth, I was shocked to see the szechuan chicken was simply a pile of overcooked, chewy meat that was so salty I could hear my heart beat through the vein in my temple after a few bites. It was so salty and dry I had to douse it with duck sauce and hoisin to get it down.at $16+ for just the entree I'm very disappointed. Intermission: the steamed rice was good. Moving on the scallion pancakes are dry, greasy, chewy, and lacking in flavor. Main takeaways: overpriced, don't get the szechhuan pepper chicken, and don't get the scallion pancakes. Very unlikely to return!
just ordered takeout from here and as i was eating my soup i thought i was chewing down on a bone...it was actually very sharp and very large plastic. HOW DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN????i just dont understand how something like this goes unnoticed before its sent. i will never spend my money here. im disgusted even giving one star honestly
It was a great experience for me. The fish was delicious with right amount of spices, oil and spiciness. It was not that greasy than most Chinese restaurants I have been to.One day a friend recommended this place to me and he mentioned this place was different than what he tried 5 years ago. Apparent, the original owner sold this restaurant to present owner and I can see many more good reviews adding up as they care about customer service and food quality. Unlike the previous owner who didn’t do a good job on that part.
A full hour past confirmed pickup time and counting, no word on when the food will be ready. Based on past experience, it tastes fine when it's finally ready. I can hear the staff telling new orders that they can pick up in half an hour, which based on the growing crowd in the lobby (forget COVID mitigation) is not very responsible.
Authentic Sichuan style hot and spicy dishes.
